Arsenal were naive, pushed far too high up the pitch, Ozil was a passenger, and they are missing Ramsey and Flamini, oh and Giroud isn't good enough to win you a title.

I agree with this. Not got a clue how this is going to turn out. What Arsenal will turn up? What Utd will turn up? I honestly think this game could go either way!

The only thought in my mind is Arsenal generally buckle down after a heavy defeat, become more focussed and become more organised and sort out the basics. However, it might mean that we are scared to go out and express ourselves for fear of getting caught, so I can see us struggling to score in this game. If you analyse both likely starting XI then Utd certainly should have more individual matchwinners, I know it's down to how both play as a team mind you.

Arteta's comments saying that he has never seen Wenger so angry as he was at half time at Anfield hopefully shows he is capable of dishing it out to players if need be (something I think he should be more proactive in), and by god they needed it on Saturday.

I'm for a utd win. Would take a draw either as long as utd somehow look good (enough) for it.

My thinking is that taking points off Arsenal is good, and keeping Moyes in his job is good. I think they call it a win-win (for us).

If it makes you feel any better, just remember that any time they do OK it gives Moyes more time in the job to work his magic.

Of course, that just means Arsenal will hammer them! (although, honestly, I don't know which way this game is likely to go).

Are you ever confident of Arsenal getting a result vs them? Also Arsenal is not the Arsenal of the early season, no Ramsey and disinterested Ozil. Made this point a few posts ago....might be the match that that "fantastic four" of United gets the media wanking or whatever.

Basically, even though I want us to chase 3rd, I'd still hope for a 5-0 Arsenal win but then you just can't rely on Arsenal.

Utd won titles in the past losing games at Southampton 6-3, and 5-0 at Southampton.

Liverpool's first 2 goals came from a central defender. One of those games when within 10 minutes you know you're going to get beat.

It was embarrassing, but they are always like that at the Emirates and then they like to claim they were booing the ref. They booed after a friendly in preseason.

Not just that, but the way they get on the back of their players is going to make the team more nervous and mistake prone. Draxler should avoid Arsenal.

The team suffered with no players running in behind the back and no pace upfront or out wide.

It might be a blessing to lose against Liverpool in the cup and go out to Bayern in the CL meaning only 13 games left to do our best in the league.
