You know what, sometimes you just need to hold your hands up and say there are better teams than you in this league that deserve to win the thing and that's the way I feel about City just now. Not that you care, but under Mancini a lot of neutrals were very anti City, because of the new money and the slightly negative tactics but this City team is winning them all round. You play some frightening stuff at times, and the goalscoring is just phenomenal.

Don't get me wrong, im by no way saying Chelsea or Arsenal are out of it, and I'd love nothing more than to somehow get results against you guys and Chelsea and to go on and sneak it, but I just cant see Arsenal doing it. Chelsea still have a better chance I think given their fixtures, but if you give out the award for the best team then City should win it hands down. Momentum is a very important thing in this league, especially at this time, & City seem to have that in abundance.

Van Persie won Utd the league last year almost single handidly, and Aguero, Negredo and Dzeko are proving the difference this season if City go on to win it. Maybe a lesson to Arsenal & Chelsea when you look at their forward options that this is the real area that counts, where the matchwinners are.

Im well aware that nothing is won just yet, & im not giving up on the Arsenal, just wanted to put out a random cap doffed to you guys!

Only slightly though, in the 2011-12 season Mancini's City team were far the best team, but we regressed last year as the possession play got slower. There is a delusion with some Arsenal fans in that they insist that always play the best football, but in the 2011-12 season they were a one man team. Glad to see your aren't delusional like your fellow gooners.

Now that arsenal have "slipped up" let's not rule them out just yet. I gully expect them to beat palace over the weekend and that will leave us chasing them again going in to a very tough game in hand. The good news is they play Liverpool away the weekend after which will not be easy.

i think most people believe that overall arsenal have played the best football over a pro longed period of time, i'm talking 15-20 years - pretty much through most of wengers reign.

but of course there have been odd seasons where our football has been dire, such as last season and the one before.

this season i would say some of the best football we've played has been on par with anything you've played, the difference is you've definitely played it a lot more frequently then we have.

we seem to be over compensating a bit defensively, maybe because of past mistakes in recent seasons, and it affects our offensive game. but when you can boast the best defensive record which has helped us stay top of the league for so long, i can't really complain.

I'm not ruling ourselves out yet, it just seems to me though, like I mentioned before, that your team have the momentum out all 3 teams.

Walcotts injury, Ramseys injury, Flamini out for 4 games, the poor performance and the dropping of points Southmpton, it just seems as if things are getting away from us somewhat, and I remember that feeling, I'm getting some sort of déjà Vu here.

Maybe a signing would lift things again and give the squad that wee boost coupled with the return of Wilshere and. Rosicky for this weekends game, then again there's a very good chance Wenger will come out the transfer window empty handed again.

16:20
Schalke chief Horst Heldt insists that Arsenal target Julian Draxler is staying with the club for the rest of the season and 'probably' beyond.

"I am very sure that Julian will play in the second half for us - and probably beyond"

From SS Transfer centre.

This time round I think you have the quality to push us all the way. More importantly the team seem to have the right mentality to mount a proper title challenge. All season I have expected arsenal to fall away and despite the fact we are on this unbelievable run, arsenal refuse to drop off. For that reason I think they will be there right till the end.

Has anyone got the link to that Arsenal fan and his blog, claiming City are buying referees, decisions, and the title, or somehing similar to that

Been posted a few times.

Thanks.

Why on earth does this so-called brilliant manager time and again shoot himself in the foot and undermine his own team.

He should keep his mouth shut and just get on with what he is supposed to be so good at.

There are numerous examples, a recent one being something about not being able to compete with a nation state or some such bollocks. Whinging and whining about what is out of his control certainly does not help his team and shows his lack of a backbone.
