There is an Arsenal Blog that I read and on it then bang on about the number of injuries they suffer, compared to other clubs, and also the recovery time.
Of course they blame everything on poor tackles, on bad refs on Mike Riley having it in for them. Irrespective they do suffer far more injuries
I made a contribution , which of course they dismissed but my view is that the way Wenger sets them out, trains them (it is said that they work with the ball far more in training than any other club, and the type of player they recruit in reality the players don't appear to be able to time tackles and the 100 red cards received in AW time has to be a factor.
The Wilshire injury is a classic example in that my view was Agger went in far more committed and it was Wilshire that kicked his foot not he other way round yet, the Arsenal supporters are calling for Aggers head which in most instances would be fair enough but on this occasion it just seems an unfortunate injury.
