Ozil is the very definition of a luxury player.

Great when you're 3 up v crystal palace at home but goes missing in the 'tough' games and sulks like a twat when the opposition don't just roll over and part their cheeks.

Arsenals version of robinho.

At 42m the biggest mugging in recent history.

hmm.. weird. I see the exact opposite way. His vision on the field is better than almost anyone on the planet imo. against top top teams, with very well organized defenses, very tight marketing, this is the lad that'll get u that 1-0 game winning assist. through the smallest of margins... think when theo comes back u'll see him setting up much more. don't think arsenal is really the best team for him, though. all that creativity, but not many direct, powerful players, for that creativity to set up

Undoubtedly when he is allowed or decides to play he is a rare talent but there were rumour at Real that Ozil was a party animal and not up for the blood and guts of battle.

ur right in saying about ozil.

we saw yday against liverpool that when we have players making runs behind like podolski and ox were doing, he's far more effective. he was also good when we had ramsey making good runs.

i think arsenal is perfect for him actually, as usually we are one of the quickest teams in the league, especially on the counter and we play the passing game.

its just unfortunate that for most of this season the players required for that fast football have been injured (walcott/ox/podolski).

put those on the team together with (hopefully) a new top fast striker next season and thats when you'll see the best of ozil.

I hope we have a right go tomorrow, even if we lose, no point losing a chess match 2-0 like city today, you think your doing well and before you know it, the tie is over.
Hope we go for the kill tomorrow, and if we fall short, so be it.

Im expecting nothing but excellence from Bayern, to be the best you have to beat the best..

Is Ribery out?? and is anyone else out?

If we get an excellent Bayern, we have no chance....We need an undercooked Bayern that haven't been under pressure at all this season, and an excellent arsenal making no mistakes and taking their chances, and even then, itll be very tough.

Ribery, Shaqiri and Badstuber are out. All the others are in the team for tomorrow.
