I see the Voyeur's getting his excuses in early. If I was an Arsenal fan I'd be embarrassed by Wenger always moaning about us or any other side. I bet he's on the phone right now to Platini.

Maybe he shouldn't talk about other clubs as much but he was obviously asked a direct question & answered it with his opinion, that's why journalists seemed to like him.

However, the headlines are totally misleading to what he actually says. I've seen that he has 'slammed' Man City, & he's also 'Blasted' them, & is moaning "it's not fair"!

He said: “We are happy to dedicate the money we make just to run our club as there is not a lot of surplus to buy other clubs.”

How they get that from those quotes i'll never know, but the headliners writers are certainly doing their job in reeling folk in?!!

I agree - I don't think what he said was as bad as I first thought last night when I posted my original views. The headlines do often have a habit of not matching up to the actual story.

I know the headlines are sensationalised, but maybe a "We don't talk about other clubs finances" would be a better stance and
could not be misconstrued in anyway.

I'm so sick of Wenger sticking his abnormally large nose into our business. I said on another thread that the other clubs would moan about the Lampard loan and eventually the rules will be changed because it's us that are doing it and it's only taken a day for Wenger to get involved. The way he's going on you'd think New York bought Messi and loaned him to us not a 36 year old Lampard just wanting to stay fit.

That's probably what he's worried about and, no doubt, Platini will introduce measures to prevent this ever happening in the future.
