Bitter, ill-informed twats, hope Besiktas knock their 'holier-than-thou' club out.

Portuguese media states that arsenal and sporting are advancing talks for William Carvalho, 30million on the table + Player on loan to Sporting.... In my opinion it would be a great buy for Arsenal. William was the one of the best DM in the portuguese league on par with Fernando. With Fernando being better defensively and William being better offensively
Not too sure about this lad, he's been poor whenever I've seen Sporting and looked woefully out of his depth at the wc. Doesn't seem to have the agility to put his size to use, won't be worried if Arse sign him.

I strongly disagree, as I suspect would 99% of people who've seen him play a few times. He was player of the month four times and young player of the month 6 times last season (out of 9 months), so you must have picked very rare Sporting games where he was poor. Also, he barely played at the WC and was a massive improvement to the team when he did. He's exactly the player Arsenal need, but luckily I don't think they will sign him.

It's still comforting to see that having absolutely no knowledge of a subject does not in any way, prevent them from expressing an opinion on it.
I would be worried if that ever changed.

There are reports (only tabloids as far as I know) that they are seriously looking at Falcao for £50M now that Giroud is out for so long. Can't see them spending it tbh, it would kill Wenger to mess up the books with that kind of spending. I think another report was looking for loan of Cavani, sounds more their low budget thing. Would love it if they end up with Weelbeck, would be a typical penny pinching half arsed thing to do.

someone started a rumour of Zigic to Arsenal last night, sent the Gooners into meltdown :).

That made me laugh. Then I started to wonder if it could be true!

Two very good 'stop gap' signings - Cavani and Falcao to cover for Giroud's two month absence! Come on Besiktas - a score draw would be very nice.

This week could get better. Scousers beaten, the rags humiliated and the gooners out of the CL. Here's hoping
