A 'massive' 7 wasn't it?

Silly post MCC, him, and IF they keep their top players fit, they will be there.

His opinion is different to yours. Why is his post silly and yours not.

ermmmm.... because they only finished 7 points behind, they seem to be signing quality AND I did say if they keep their top players fit, they will be challenging. Not too hard to understand, is it, really?

Anyway, all my posts are silly, so that goes without saying.

Forums are all about differences of opinions, the lifeblood of them even, while I can call his post, yours or anyone else's silly, I wouldn't get abusive about it, as some do, as that is REALLY silly ;o)

toodle pip.

Aye but we lost a lot of points away early doors last season which won't happen this season. IMO.
I have a problem understanding most things, when written with such a condescending attitude.

Hate the fact that they signed sanchez, brilliant player with good work rate and surely they will be aiming for the title,i mean how long can wenger go on like this? Winning the fa saved him last time, this time he has to deliver.
All he has to deliver is a stadium full of Tarquins willing to spend their hard earned on season tickets and merchandise and the job is his for life. Fuck all to do with winning anything.

You forgot to mention getting top 4 so they can carry on milking the eufa cow. Arsenal aren't spending to win the league, they're spending to keep their champs league place.

Just seen Sanchez in the new arsenal kit, first time I've seen it, its a thing of beauty even if it is red.

Genuine title challengers in my opinion along with Chelsea and ourselves. I reckon this could be one of the toughest seasons of the Premier League era to date. Sanchez is a world class purchase and will catapult them in the title mix as much as I hate to say it

This is probably the statement that is mentioned most during each summer. Not just about the Prem but in various other leagues across a number of sports, in my experience.

What people forget is that we only have to play Arse home and away and maybe also in the cup but a strong Arse can take points off Chelsea, the dippers and the rags as well so it is swings and roundabouts.

Obviously, we need to make sure they don't pick up too many points from us.

Not convinced Ozil is all that, Wilshere is made of glass and hasn't developed as hoped and Ox and Walcott are similar, talented and pacey but not much between the ears and injury-prone. Ramsey is top notch but again is injury-prone.

Anyway, we will see how events unfold. If, as others have said, the new fitness coach can work wonders and they curb the injuries, who knows ? They could be contenders beyond Xmas and into the New Year. Let's hope not.

I should think Arsenal will perform pretty similarly to last year: attractive football throughout the first half of the season then a small collapse when a few players get injured and others lose form. Until they learn to dig in and win games when they're playing poorly they will not win the league.

Along with Chelsea they will be quite a threat to us now. Liverpool have just sold their best player who carried them all year so I can't see them doing anything, not with a Champions League campaign as well. Chelsea will be a major threat because they just don't concede but they still don't score enough but that might change this year. Arsenal are a bit of a mix, they'll be a massive threat to us if they can start scoring more which they will do with Sanchez. The rags I just can't see being a problem, they have just sold their entire defence and the rest of the squad is shaky at best. It will take at least 1-2-3 transfer windows to sort them out. They have already spent nearly 100M on 2 players and they need at least 6 all without the offer of European football.

I think it will be a 3 horse race, we obviously have one of the better squads but we have to hope that Yaya doesn't go and Aguero doesn't spend another season injured or we will be in trouble.
