Speaking after the final whistle, Arteta was quick to give thanks to his former mentor.

‘I miss my family so much they have been all the way with me,’ Arteta told BT Sport. ‘Thank you as well I have to thank you Pep in a very big way because I am a manager in a big part to him so I think I have to consider that as well.’

Reports telling arsenal are in for Sevilla CB Diego Carlos, we are the other club being linked with him. Is it a case of Arteta handing our transfer plans on a plate to Raul Sanlehhi ?

Probably not ... there's only a handful of elite centre halfs knocking about and we've earmarked 2 by the looks of things. Seems DC might be a back up if either of the other 2 go tits up.

I never had a beef with Arsenal apart from the FFP fan and expert wno's a complete cock but since they were the leaders of the letter to CAS and not for the first time of rounding up the sheep to complain they can get fucked, I hope they get relegated without winning a game. Naked self interest in all its glory.

How much would this guy cost? If its over £30M, I doubt we'd be in for him.

We'll probably keep trying for Partey, perhaps a couple of deals like Willian on a free & Coutinho on loan. We'll be after a defender as well but doubt 1 that would cost over £30M. So yeah, absolutely no-one that you would be interested in.
