Can Arteta finally stop playing possession Football with this team. He has to adapt to the Players he has.

They're shit. Undeniably shit.

They've spent poorly, developed poorly, and hired poorly for well over a decade. Yet for some reason they refuse to admit this isn't 2000 any more and they're not a "sleeping giant", but rather just another run of the mill mid table side.

They're closer to relegation than winning anything. Somewhere between 9th - 13th in the table feels about right.

I don't think Arteta is a good manager, but I'm not sure any manager could turn them around. They have a handful of decent players, I guess. Tierney looks a decent enough left back. Smith-Rowe has potential. Other then that?

Look lost, and Arteta failed to plug the obvious problem area because he doesn’t have the flexibility or the personnel.

You can say what you like about Wegner, but one thing you can’t ignore is that he knew a “player” when he saw one. He knew how to go on the Continent and pluck talent out of teams, often before they became ££££ players.

Arteta just looks out of his depth. He has tried to cobble together some young talent with some experienced heads, but their supposed “stars” wouldn’t get into any other team in the Top 6.

As others have said, if Arteta doesn’t stem the tide, he’s more goner the gooner!

I’m sure he’s a nice enough guy, but I hope we absolutely batter them next weekend!

I feel the same. Brighton is way better then them , so is Everton and Aston Villa.

Dark times ahead of Arsenal
They aren’t finishing above any of those teams and possibly even West Ham, Leeds, Brentford. Arteta will be in trouble if we smash them on Saturday. I can’t believe they’ve spent £150m this summer. White and Odegaard don’t strike me as players that will turn them around. They need some steel in midfield, it seems like we’ve been saying that about Arsenal for years.
