Them getting giddy as fcuk is no surprise really! They haven’t won the league for 19 years and they that close they can smell it! So don’t bother me there reaction to winning a game.
Totally agree, can't criticise them for that to be fair.

Seems a bit desperate to me. They could have drawn or even lost any or all of those. I see that as them just getting away with it rather than being "a winning mentality".

April will be tough, they have us, Newcastle and Liverpool away. I back us to win that and neither of the others will be easy to get even a point from. We're breathing down their necks and won't go away. We likely to handle the pressure of the run-in better than they do.

Yeah, you’re right…nothing to worry about…

look if Arsenal get over the line then well played to them, but until they stick around for 5 seasons and be challengers in them seasons then I would give them credit, BUT what they have done 20 years ago means nothing to Manchester City or Liverpool because I still feel we are still both top dogs in England,

it's crazy that some Arsneals fans are giving it the big I am on here because of a good season so far.
they are thinking we are Arsenal of Old a top 4 club, even before today's late result it's still not going to be easy to get over the line, because of where they have been for years and years,

all I said to GunnerGer was I think City and Liverpool are still the top 2 teams in England and stand by that,
1 season wonders are called Leicester City and that's what Arsenal will become if they win the title, until they retain the title or stay in the top 2 or 3 places for 5 seasons and not because of what happened 20 years ago they can call themselves a top 4 club again,

I both like and respect that angle of approach. P

But, as a football supporter I care mostly about how my team’s performing in the present and, in the right here and now, they’re well placed to become the champions of england . . in fact best placed of all the teams in England . . . and Liverpool aren’t really in any contention whatsoever.
In fact, when I think about the title race the dippers don’t get any headspace at the moment . . . . If I think about them at all it’s only because I‘ve saved them for the comedy section.

And yes, I hope that the Arse fall apart and we win it but I can understand the Arse fans getting giddy, because they‘re currently the top 1 club and have a 5 point advantage 26 games into a 38 game season.
They don’t need to think too much about being a top 4 club because, without looking back at what was, and without guessing about what may be, in the here and now they’re the current top club and Liverpool aren’t even in the conversation.

You’re still favourites to win the title and given you’ve won 4 out of 5 titles, I’m not sure about the relevance of a 6 year old statement that has had no impact since?
You saw the impact today and in the Villa game when you were given the help / time you needed to get over the line v lesser opposition … They don’t even try to fucking hide it

Answer my other post… Why the fuck aren’t you out waiting for the open topped bus parade with the other Tarquins instead of wumming on a City forum??

Fair play to them today, it was a big win in the circumstances. Don’t really think the additional time was that ridiculous from what I saw. Bournemouth were time-wasting and it bit them on the arse. Really don’t think it was a fix though, as they could’ve easily given Arsenal a penalty earlier if that was the case. Not sure we’d have been given that additional time, mind you.

Not to worry, there’s still a long way to go (practically a third of the season!) so not unduly worried yet. They seem to be stuttering whilst we’re moving up the gears. Marathon, not a sprint and all that. Still fancy our chances.

one of the Bournemouth players went down right at the start of injury time so no completes about the injury time added, but I will say the officials match referee and VAR was working overtime because Arsenal was wanting everything, it was like every time the ball went in the box it was a shout of a pen,

when Bournemouth scored their 2nd goal you knew it was coming and they just stopped playing and shit the bed,
they are bottom of the league for a reason and just don't know how to defend a score, when it gets ugly and hard to get out you don't just stop what you were doing to go 2 up in the first place,

Bournemouth did not have an out ball after the 2nd goal they scored, it was everybody back behind the ball and just kicking it back to Arsenal, it was coming from that moment on,

The funny thing was everybody at manchester city gave Arsenal the points anyway before the kickoff, the game was marked down as 3 points by everybody at City, So for them to make hard work of it sort of gives City hope we can chase them down,

if they are feeling it now with 12 games to play then when it gets to 5 games and if City beat them at the Etihad you fancy Manchester City to show how true Champions get the job done,
"sort of gives City hope we can chase them down"?

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that we can chase them down. In fact the only place I see any doubt is on this forum. We ARE favourites for a reason...

Maybe explains why where they are?
No one gone for the ball they were lazy and soft.Especially because it is last minute you go on that ball with everthing you have, but they didn't, if you played some other team that can defend you would lose today after whey gone 2-0.

We’re not favourites with most bookies, tbf.
