And very arrogant/ignorant still.

He is right Arsenal has a lot of history. A storied history of not winning anything in the last 20 years.
He'd be superb for them.Only player from Brighton they really should be signing is Caicedo.
I think that would be too big, too early for Ferguson. He'd be superb for them.
Ferguson a good shout though too.
"Ray Parlour, you absolute wrong 'un"!Bet his subs have gone through the roof after that lol
Fair enough. We really didnt handle the run in well. Injuries to Saliba and Tomiyasu were terminal. Arteta was a little late recognising Kiwior is a vast improvement on Holding. We oculdnt handle the pressure in the end
Just need to be aggressive again in the transfer window. Plenty of organic growth from Saliba, Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard. We will be banging on the door next season too
UsTough year next year I think. How many teams realistically fighting for four places? Brutal.
Bring it on.
5 places next season.Tough year next year I think. How many teams realistically fighting for four places? Brutal.
Ooooo... Convenient :)5 places next season.
Extra champions league place
They have not had a great season. They would have had the season finished on 1 April.Arsenal have had a great season. We have just been better. And beaten them 3 times
To be fair, they've got 81 points, and that was enough to win the league back when they used to do it. Unfortunately for them, they haven't realised that we've raised the bar and it's now rare to win it without getting into the 90s.They have not had a great season. They would have had the season finished on 1 April.
Better than their best ever invincible season to be honest, just not good enough for when City have raised the standard needed to collect a league title recently. To be fair, they've got 81 points, and that was enough to win the league back when they used to do it. Unfortunately for them, they haven't realised that we've raised the bar and it's now rare to win it without getting into the 90s.

The problem with Arsenal they always try to walk it in the net.

Can't see Brighton or Villa gatecrashing the top 4 somehow. And nos 4-6 on that list can't be as poor again as they were this season.
Spurs? agree with the others. Those pricks arent getting anywhere near top 4 next season.Us

You have to learn when and when not to press.Agreed. But you said so yourself, you went long because our press was really good. You also surrendered possession in that game, something you would never cede to another team. I think we had 65% possession. When was the last time a Pep team had 35% of the ball?
These anecdotal events are cause for optimism among Arsenal ranks. We know we are still very wet behind the ears. Our key playing personnel are all still quite young and our manager is only into his 4th year as a manager.
We are still cutting our teeth and between another big window and the organic growth from Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard and Saliba, we can be better next season.
This notion that this season was make or break is such a fallacy. Ive read comments on this forum about how Odegaard would be the perfect KDB replacement. Well he is going to be at Arsenal next season too. As will Saka, Martinelli, Saliba & they will be a year older.
Awww, bless from supporters of a team that BOUGHT their way into the top flight. The hypocracy is breathtaking.
As you say most of that 65% possession was them passing it around the back whilst we just stood about not getting sucked in and Ramsdale delaying goal kicks. You have to learn when and when not to press.
65% possession is irrelevant if the ball ends up in your net 3 times - and to be honest it could have been 5 or 6 without Ramsdale who is a fine shot stopper.
