Depends on their transfer window imo, if we close this league out and get the title, they'll still be a young team with lots of scope to improve but mentally they'll need a couple of statement signings to lift the squad and on the playing side to add a bit of competition and depth.
I feel like this is their best chance to win it though. They're going to have CL football next year and they're going to be less of a surprise for everyone. A team that's surprisingly good can get halfway through the season before anyone realises and adapts their game. The next season, everyone's ready for them. It's why second season syndrome exists for the newly promoted teams.

What a fucking weapon. Love that their narrative has become "well how can we compete with City?" rather than looking at the absolute bottle job from their team. Embarrassing, I thought Arsenal fans were a bit better than this.
Did you? They were the original bitters, because we took so many of their players in our early transfer dealings after the takeover.

From being the worst iteration of a Pep team I have seen earlier this season to the very very best. The team and Earling have learned how to play together. His performance last night was brilliantly integrated into the team performance. Thats even when his finishing was a shade under his clinical best. When Kevin plays like that he is, for me the very best in the world. Every player was outstanding, the tactics and press and blocking of the passing lanes just phenomenal. When we are that good it doesn't really matter what the referee does and he was very biased last night.
Final word goes to Akanji. I have in the past criticised his ariel prowess and at times positioning. At left back last night he was just fantastic both his defensive work and his distribution. Well done son.

What a time to be a blue.
It's Erling....

They had the Europa this season and actually played better in the league when they had the midweek games (fun discussion on here about it, I was on the side that it's better to play every few days and shut everything out but the football, one of our lads, possibly Bernardo, said the same last night), next season will be tougher alright as Newcastle are on the up and Chelsea/dippers can't be as poor again, but as I said they've scope to improve and their points total this season will speak for itself.
In terms of figuring them out, easier said than done, they're not doing anything new or groundbreaking, they're just a very good side, even if they're not at our level yet.
They've gotten lucky at times this season, yes and there's some obvious areas in their squad that need strengthened (Holding is shite for starters and they need another centre back, Xhaka should be a squad player not a starter, White is useless in attack) but if they address that in the transfer window they'd be my favourites for top 4 of the other teams at the start of next season and while they might not sustain a title challenge it wouldn't be a surprise if they did.

Unless it's Foden!

Just watching the recording, were arse fans singing we’ve won it all? Did I miss their CL triumph?

Also when he stopped the game cos Thomas fartey threw himself on the ground and pretended he had a head injury, some of the City players were having a drink and a chat with Pep and Jesus was moaning like fuck about it to the ref, oh the fucking irony

This thicko was saying it was a one horse race a month ago
Another ‘holier than thou’ history club fan.
He‘s obviously never heard of Danny Fiszman’s blood diamond money that enabled them to have their invincibles season and build a shiny new stadium.
’Good v evil’ I think he said at one point.
If ignorance is bliss, he must be a very happy man.
