…which reminds me to hoover my nannas’ chesterfield sofa at some point.Looking forward to the lovely Laura Woods tomorrow morning
Parallels with 30th April 2012 when the rags came to ours and Vinnie's header almost broke the back of their net.Arsenal need a draw at ours.
Villa, got last minute then scored another when Villa keeper went up for corner and Arse broke away and scoredFair shout who was their last minute winner away against?
That was at homeBournemouth.
Pressure can do remarkable thingsHopefully Southampton pull off a miracle and get at least a point. I must admit though that's more than a tall order lol.
Not asking for much, then?We need that Ward Prowse bugger to bang a free kick in, Lavia hit a worldie then our ex keeper to have a blinder.
I think most of us were thinking that about the hammers after 20 mins.Saints will get annihilated.
We still have to beat them, but if we do that, we will have the privilege of drawing one game, and that is of course if Arsenal win all the other games.Does today change that much though?
Definitely from a confidence povDoes today change that much though?
Yep but the state of that 2nd half from us yesterday is concerning. We still have to beat them, but if we do that, we will have the privilege of drawing one game, and that is of course if Arsenal win all the other games.
It means if we beat them we have some wiggle room, if we draw they're not sat comfortably, and if we lose they're not running away with it.Does today change that much though?
In isolation, not very much. We've gained two goals and two points on them. If we win the game in hand (whenever it's played) and also beat them, we can afford to draw one of the other games, I think. It's more the cumulative psychological impact on them; successive 2 goal leads thrown away. As soon as Benrahma stuck away that penalty, they were probably thinking back to Anfield. Imagine if the improbable happens and Southampton go ahead next friday night, and are leading with 20 minutes to go. Combine that with our current run of Ws. They'll panic.Does today change that much though?
It shouldn't be. It's very unlikely Pep would start with that finishing 11 yesterdayYep but the state of that 2nd half from us yesterday is concerning.
And how many games will we see that second half XI starting? The Blades semi final, maybe? You need to calm down.Yep but the state of that 2nd half from us yesterday is concerning.
Just the goal difference bud...In our favour.Does today change that much though?
