In our case, last two or three minutes. No just stating facts, i think we (city) edge it, ive posted 100's of other City posts. Just think there is a lot left in this. SKY do all this run in bollox from Jan to try and drive subs, most seasons come down to last two or three games really.
Arsenal play Chelsea the game after they play at ours, if we do our job and put Arsenal away there's no knowing their mindset for that Chelsea game. They are really weird this year, there's no way that squad of players is a mid-table squad. I wouldn't want to be be playing them and they are capable of throwing a surprise. I'm not saying it will happen, but I can imagine them raising their game and maybe getting a point!
Maybe, but it did no good :)Not sure if anyone's touched on it yet, and as I didn't watch the Arsenal 1st half, did Ramsdale - or one of the others - sit down and do a time out for an Arteta teamtalk around 20 minutes, or so?
....and Forest who will def be down by then after there pathetic display against the rags.I think you’re stretching it a bit, saying that Chelsea is a very tricky game.
and they know we are very capable of winning all our remaining matches...that must make them feel very deflated.Definitely from a confidence pov
I agree. Its a funny old game. Saints wont roll over so a even a draw would be great. Wheres Mick Channon when you need him.I think most of us were thinking that about the hammers after 20 mins.
I'm not saying the Saints will beat them, but Arsenal are struggling with the pressure ATM.
Well in terms of what we need to do, not really, we still need to win our gamesDoes today change that much though?
The result changes a lot, we could draw against them and be 7 points behind with 2 games in hand, let’s say they draw at Newcastle and we win the next three, puts us a point up, all points are valuable. No way the title is just decided on our Tarquin game, there’s a lot more fight left in the season.Love that result but it doesn't actually change much, we still need to win every game, what it does is take goal difference out of the equation which is good for us potentially seeing games out if we go deep into every competition.
They play Southampton before us, at home too so expect them to thrash them and get some momentum back. However if they were to somehow drop points again, we could afford to draw our game with them and a win would surely all but seal it. I want to see a total capitulation, their fans deserve it.
I never, ever get my phone out to record anything at the match, I sit on the barrier to the away fans, if we beat them at our place, I'm filming them, will be a masterpiece for the ages.
