Done us a big favour today
Ridiculous idea. Break up the best centre half pairing in England, possibly Europe for 100m?Al Nassr supposedly willing to pay £100m+ with £20m a year net wages for Gabriel.
Take the money and run! We're playing the Italian National team centre half Calafiori at left back (usually as a sub) so he could fit in seamlessly with minimal drop off in quality. The thing about Brazilians is they grew up in poverty and can get their heads turned by this kind of money very easily and if they don't get their way can stink the place out with their moaning.
So if he wants to go that's £100m extra to spend with us already having a quality, young replacement in the squad.
To be fair the replacements for replacing the so called best centre half pairing will win the same honours as them.Ridiculous idea. Break up the best centre half pairing in England, possibly Europe for 100m?
Selling your best players to reinvest is a silly idea. You already have an established player who does well, but you sell him and then need to replace, and the expectation is you get a as good a replacement. You assume risk that the replacement doesn't work out despite needing to match the outlay you sold him for. Much to lose, little to gain.
Calafiori is a good player, but miles of Gabriel for strength and athleticism. Part of why Gabriel and Saliba are so good as they can BOTH match the biggest players for strength, and the quickest players for pace, and the tallest players in the air. Calafiori is a stand in centre half and good left back, selling Gabriel and replacing him with Calafiori is something our rivals would cheer for.
If you would sell Gabriel, you would sell Saliba and Saka. Do Newcastle want to sell Isak for a 'good deal'.
Once you start selling your best players its over. We should know this when he sold Cesc and Nasri in the same two weeks. Anyways, there are also rumours we are entering into talks to extend Gabriel, as aswell as Saka and Saliba. Saudi Arabia can shove their 100m up their ****.
It depends on whether Gabriel wants to leave doesn't it. My point was that Brazilian footballers in particular seem to get their heads turned by the mega-money and I can understand why as they often grow up in abject poverty.Ridiculous idea. I like how the fans float this idea that Newcastle should just hand over Isak. Reminds me of the situation we had with Bernardo and Barcelona for the past four years.
Architects of the current regulations designed to hamper a team like Newcastle and think they should do business? Sod that.
Eventually he did. But thankfully it was on our terms. We had it with Sergio media constantly saying he off to Spanish league!
That uzbeki kid looks good.To be fair the replacements for replacing the so called best centre half pairing will win the same honours as them.
Fuck all.lol.
Unless he's an Arsenal fan or really wants to live in London why would he move to us? He could go to pretty much any club in the world. Not going to happen.I like how the fans float this idea that Newcastle should just hand over Isak. Reminds me of the situation we had with Bernardo and Barcelona for the past four years.

Why wouldnt Isak want to join us? We are one of the best teams in the best league in the world. We are stacked with serious quality young players. We dont have key players over 30. The cycle is with us over the longer term. If we signed Isak, the rest of the league would shat itself and Isak knows it.Unless he's an Arsenal fan or really wants to live in London why would he move to us? In any case we don't need a Top 3 World striker. Any guy that can stick the ball in the net would be an improvement - our weapons are in midfield. Someone like a Fullkrug (who stays fit) would be perfect - basically not blazing the ball over the bar from 3 yards out is already a big step up.
Spend the money on a proper left sided attacker
You do realise that Newcastle have actually won something this season? Why wouldnt Isak want to join us? We are one of the best teams in the best league in the world. Ask rival fans, would thy rather Isak stay at Necastle, or join Arsenal...........the answer if stay at Newcastle and play for the very overrated and protected Eddie Howe.
Wenger on 3 FA Cups in 4 years. Meant nothing in the longer run. League position and points accumulated, even for and against record is evidence of where teams are in the pecking order. The League Cup is not indicative of future performance, just look at Man United under Ten Hag.You do realise that Newcastle have actually won something this season?
I'd say their potential is perhaps greater that arsenal who seem to have hit a bit of a ceiling.
Wenger's side post invincibles were one in decline, as we're Utd under ten hag. Newcastle seem to have consolidated and be on the way up either with or without howe. Once the apt rules are sorted/binned and the outcome of our 115 drama and future pl financial landscape is known I imagine Newcastle's owners will surge ahead with spending /development. Very much like city from 2012. After missing the relatively open goal of a pl title this season I just don't see much ahead for arteta and this version of arsenal.Wenger on 3 FA Cups in 4 years. For Arsenal, finishing above Newcastle is low hanging fruit

Yes, but sadly you are prisoners of your own mentality as that comment and this season shows - you need to obsess about finishing first/winning, not just finishing above a poor city side. This is why I think you are done under Arteta. The 'finishing above city trophy' is probably your high watermark. We will finish above you next season too. Your defence is too weak
You won't finish above City any time in the next 10 years again. You'll be fortunate to do it this season. Youre fucking wank, a bunch of overly emotional bottle merchants who think they're Barcelona but are barely bigger than Spurs. You win nothing, constantly. Nobody takes you seriously. Go cheer on your rapist. We will finish above you next season too. Your defence is too weak
Do you never learn? We will finish above you next season too. Your defence is too weak
