I remember earlier in the season when some knob on here was adamant these were “average”.
They are not that special, the difference is that Arteta trusts his players to make the big decisions. If there's one thing I am hoping Pep learns from these, it's that obsessive micromanagement ruins the self belief of the team, the constant chopping up of the starting line up kills whatever flow or momentum a player tries to build up. It's already happening with Khusanov.I remember earlier in the season when some knob on here was adamant these were “average”.

I still believe we had more than enough to get at least the PL this season but for some reason, Pep had this idea that the sky was falling, you could even see it in his body language at every pre match interview. The divorce had something to do with it but still.
Doesn't matter. If you win the CL when you don't win your own league, you can't realistically claim to be the best team in Europe anyway. They’re going to win it.
I’m prepared for the worst so that anything else is a positive.
TBH Arsenal play better against attacking teams - it's why we've not lost a game against a Top 4 side since City did us 4-1 at the Etihad a few years ago. It's the low block merchants we struggle against - an issue City came up against and overcame but we are yet to really do. So I actually think we'd have a good chance to beat PSG (we beat them already in the CL this season quite easily at the Emirates) but I'm hoping Barca get past inter in the semis as we'd struggle vs Inter (we lost there in the CL earlier this season despite dominating possession).
I'm just thinking a nightmare season for City fans would be Dippers winning the league, Arsenal the CL and Rags winning the EL to get into the CL next season!
I feel Inter will win the CL though this season - very underrated side who defend well and stick their chances away.

You talking about Declan Rice?
The reason you didn't sign him was because he had no interest in leaving London. Rice was destined for Chelsea but they fell off a cliff during a time we experienced an upward trajectory putting us as the firm favorite to sign him. The only teams that can sign Rice off us are Chelsea and Tottenham. Rice is going to spend atleast the next 6 years at Arsenal
They seem to be doing well with Flick.Reckon Arteta be next Barcelona manager

Pep would have used Rice in the 8 the same way Arteta uses him.The reason why he pretended to want to stop in London is that he knew he couldn't compete with Rodri
When we beat Real Madrid 3-0 in the home league, I saw a clear path to winning it through PSG in the semi final & Barcelona in the final. I really didnt want to play Villa, as they are physical and have a good midblock.Fair fucks to the arsenal raised their level when needed and who doesn’t like to see bellend and co finally knocked out.
Rice was superb last night like it or not
Still wouldn’t put it past them to bottle it.
They won’t give a fuck about the league if the win the chumps league.
Still think inter will win it.
Agree about the Real Mardarses. But why the hell did it have to be Arsenal showing them up?? Sooo annoying. I have this nagging sinking feeling Arse coukd well will win the CL. Even more unbearable than the Dips winning the league....Madrid poor last night and lacked ideas, but that was due to how Arsenal played them. Rice and Saka standout players. Great to see petulant Madrid knocked out.

Also, Arsenal is Arteta's club. He isnt leaving us for anyone. Im telling you as a fan who has his finger on the pulse of Arsenal. Arteta will not leave Arsenal
Madrid played the City way, wide open at the back, whilst the arse played like the other red tops, 10 at the back, hunted in packs, and played on the counter. In saying that, Real were so bad, the tarquins found they could just take it to them. A very dishevelled performance by Real Madrid.Madrid poor last night and lacked ideas, but that was due to how Arsenal played them. Rice and Saka standout players.
