Aside from that first minute crop of Rodri, I forgot Havertz was even playing. I have a Gooner work colleague who actually said Havertz is the best striker in the league after Haaland. I responded that he isnt even a striker and is behind scores of others including Mateta, Palmer, Foden, etc. on goalscoring in 2024.

Gooner delusion level is high and rising.

They're an odd bunch Arsenal fans. Got a real obsession with the idea the league is trying to fuck them over. Got a mate who supports them and sends me all sorts of nonsense that's aimed to illustrate the bias against them. He did it with the Doku booking. I said, okay it's a booking...then what. Trossard was still sent off, Doku would have still been on the pitch... I then said, on balance we got fucked over with your first goal and you can argue there's inconsistency with Trossard's booking but he gave the ref the decision to make - it is what it is.

He then said the way we celebrated, if Arsenal had have they'd have been called small time. I said it's context. We scored last minute and were buzzing. We didn't bring on camera's and snap it and then talk about how we were mentally ready to win things and how things were different. We just get on with it. And we have won things, so it's always going to be something levelled at Arsenal whilst they continue to be bridesmaids. And they were fucking going for it when Raya collected the ball just before our equaliser anyway. They threw themselves on him and felt that was it!

Surely your mate can see that the tarquins and Arteta are cheating time wasting cunts though? He has to watch that shit every week it's like professional wrestling but without the entertainment value.

No mate, he doesn't see it. Got a watsapp group and there's a few fans of different teams in there and he gets absolute pelters. Most hate the snidey tactics they play with and hate their fans. I've never really had an issue with Arsenal fans, but they're a hypocritical bunch.

That video he rants about so much, but completely ignores the context unless it suits Arsenal. He said they got a point but it feels like a loss then questions us celebrating as if we won...because it felt like a win you moron! Then says we had a go at them for celebrating a 0-0 last season, because they offered nowt and we knew they wouldn't win the league, which they thought a 0-0 would help them do. Says about Rodri diving around pretending to be injured then goes on to say he didn't like the Arsenal players diving around time wasting at the end because if led to the goal.

Tries to make a jibe about 4 in a row being relegations....laughable! We could get relegated 4 times in a row, we'd still be back and have more PL titles than they could dream of.

Have been bad for it for a number of years now.

This from 2022-23, even when they won 59 points from their first 66 points, they were boring everyone to death.

Ball-in-play stats for them in the big games must be pathetic. It’s mind-numbing watching them. Imagine how much money is wasted watching players just stood about waiting for dead balls and set pieces to be taken in Arsenal games or players lying on the floor when the entire world outside the weird Arsenal bubble knows there’s fuck all wrong with them.

44.7% of a £1,000 season ticket is £447 to just see blokes standing still or lying down on some grass.

Against Spurs last week, they got a corner after 40 seconds and didn’t take it until bang on 2 minutes - 66% of the first two minutes of that derby game was the whole world waiting for Saka to take a corner. Gripping football!

City’s stats are only so low at 61.6% because other teams waste time. If we had it our way the ball would easily be in play for over 70% of the game.

I agree but employing the tactics as Arteta has done shows a lack of belief on his part in those players, and himself.

He knows he daren't expose those players against City , hence the disgusting tactics . Defending deep in order to try and avoid conceding is fine, but constant pretence at injury, constant fouling, and time wasting is not. He promotes it and utilises his players in the fashion.

Decent players do not resort to those tactics unless instructed to by the manager, so the blame,lies clearly with Arteta. He doesn't believe that his players are good enough to beat us by relying on their ability alone, and hence the shithousing tactics and blatant time wasting.

I'm sure you would be very disappointed to see Pep insisting upon City using such tactics.
