Disagree, was exceptional for us, wouldn’t have won Euro trophy without him, carried us by himself at times , box to box player, shut down so many opposition attacks, won everything in the middle, sprayed ball all over pitch , captain and leader.
He’s been just as good at Arsenal adding set pieces and goals to his game. Great player.

And not to shit on West Hams European trophy the standard of opposition wasn't exactly great.

It's not his fault Arsenal spent over £100m on him that's out of his hands regarding the money that's been spent on him.

Having said that, They've went close with is twice, We'll once was incredibly close taking us to the last day, A player for that money should be the difference winning the league by fine margins in my opinion, He should be Arsenal's go to man and drove them to that league title, He's not that player.

That's what separates the top players to the rest.

Good result, but im not saying we are through yet. That being said, perfect Arteta performance. Total defensive disciple and tactical awareness by all players on the pitch. We used to be a team that was all over the place defensivly. But under Arteta we are so organized and I dare say it, along with Inter Milan the hardest team in Europe to breakdown, even with Gabriel out, as its the system that gives us defensive solidiaty.

Best game I have seen Rice play. He needs to do more of that when playing for England.

Three quality goals. Need that many when having to play Madrid over 180 minutes.

Why isn’t he ? He’s been a consistent top player for West Ham and now Arsenal year on year , only thing he lacked for us was attacking wise and getting goals but he seems to be doing that at Arsenal. Fine to disagree. Part of me wanted him to fail at Arsenal and be a flop, but I’m rational to see he’s a class act.

You mentioned that he is adding goals to his games since joining Arsenal, I genuinely didn't know how many he has since he's joined so I had to check.

Premier League goals since joining Arsenal: 9 goals in 67 games, (2 goals this season).

To put that into context, Josko Gvardiol is our left back: 9 goals in 58 games.

Fair , wrongly assumed he had more - would add his assist count is higher also than at west ham - overall his got better at going forward and still back tracking, breaking up opposition play so often.

It's an intriguing 2nd leg because they will throw the kitchen sink at you, and if they get on a roll it won't be easy to stop.

You still need to attack them and try and get a goal because it's probably the toughest place to play if you get stuck in your own half.

That's a nice way of saying the referees will give them everything to help them go through. But yeah, fantastic result for Arsenal. Can't ask for more than that.

I agree he is a proper 7 or 8 out of 10 every week.Miles better than the camera man.
