Nonsense. Odegaard hasn't attempted to make a tackle for the best part of 3 months so it couldn't have been a penalty. Odegaard's always exhausted from all the arm waving to our fans trying to get them to make noise which is why he never attempts to win the ball on the pitch. Worst captain in the PL in terms of inspiration and motivation.

Odegaard's drop this season for us has been at least as bad (if not worse) than KDB's for you.
Comparing Odegaard to KDB - hahahaha yeah right you half wit

The first word of your post describes your second paragraph!
Odegaard is 26 KDB is 33, compare like for like and a prime KDB at 26, the only drop off from Kev is his age and exhaustion after being at the top of his game for 10 years and the strain of lifting trophies, you really are the gift that keeps on giving.

I wonder if their fans would give up a Top 5 finish for a place in this seasons CL Final.

It's not an impossible scenario but they would need to lose to Liverpool and Newcastle and then fail to win at Southampton on the final day.

The rest would need to win every game (Villa) or all but one (NUFC, CFC, NFFC) to finish on 69pts or more.

2 wins or 1 win & 2 draws would be enough for us.

taking a bow is over celebrating ? seen loads of players do that over the years. hardly even worth mentioning.
Yes so have I

However, this is Declan Rice we're talking about and he plays for Arsenal.

Those Arsenal players have got form for getting giddy too soon.

My advice to Rice would be to get a league trophy under your belt before you start with that showmanship.

In hindsight he looks a right dick head. He thought that goal would have been enough to secure the points and instead Bournemouth end up doing the double over Arsenal.

Arsenal lose to PSG on Wednesday and finish 4th in the league and these over the top celebrations start to look very silly indeed.

I think that’s the point he’s making, it’s as if a young lads legs have gone rather than comparing ability.

Posted this on the second place thread but I'll post here for posterity as well.

Arsenal's form since January has been shocking. They've only won 7 of their last 16 games. They've dropped 21 points from winning positions all season. This will be, what, the fourth spring in a row where they've shat themselves? This was meant to be their season and they're at serious risk of finishing fourth in what was meant to be a two horse race. They have got to have the worst mentality from an apparent "top" club that I think I've ever seen.

I'd have taken Arteta to replace Pep two seasons ago, but I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole now. Mentality midget.

If Arteta had truely studied Pep he’d realise that teams always find a way to stop you so you need to continually innovate to find ways of winning.

Fair enough, we have different interpretations of over the top celebrations, had he took his shirt off and jumped into the crowd then I’d consider that far more over the top then a simple bow to the crowd. Maybe he should just not celebrate and trudge back to the centre circle next time.

Finally we agree:)

In practical terms it doesn’t really matter how they finish the season. They’re not going to finish outside the Champions League places.

But this annual collapse towards the end of every season has now become so predictable and expected, it is going to cause them huge psychological issues if they find themselves in a title race again in the near future.
