Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

Arsenal are weird because as a TEAM and player for player I don’t really hate (obviously football wise) any of them bar Gabriel and Ben White. Might just be me but I actually feel like they have a fairly likeable squad now Partey has gone.

Like when we were in title races with Pool and United before that, even Chelsea when they were challenging more so than now I personally couldn’t stand a lot of their players. They infuriated me and were just unlikeable.

With Arsenal it’s purely their fans and Arteta. They’re simply insufferable and I think fans of other clubs who aren’t even challenging are waking up to that these days. I’m seeing Villa fans root for us for the title after last night. Fucking Villa! Their fans have done nothing but belittle and insult us for years but even they’re waking up to how cringe and unpleasant it’d be if that lot go on and win it.

They’re not half the team Klopps Liverpool were, but they’ll be twice as annoying and insufferable if they go on and do it this season, which with their squad depth and money spent they really should.

God I hope we pull it out the bag again.

Agree about Gabriel and the orange twat Ben Shite.

I can't stand that cocky little shit Lewis-Skelly.
It's great seeing things unravel for the arrogant little shit losing his place after being found out and shown up for the over hyped, bang average player he is.

Haven't liked Havertz since he tried to nobble Rodri or Trossard for his antics which he was rightly sent off for in the same match last season.

Raya is a cheating twat with his fake injuries (which are never highlighted by the media) but probably following instructions from Lego Head.

Lewis-Smelly thanks you for the lack of hate (whilst doing a Haaland celebration). However I’m willing to do it for you (overblown, overrated, cocky little twot. (MLS not you Bluewood!))

To be fair that season we lost out to the greatest ever PL side. I'm not sure we can infer parallels with this season.
Let’s see how it unfolds. I still have a soft spot for Arteta for his role in the Centurion season and the domestic Quadruple. If City weren’t in the race, I would be rooting for you to win the title as you deserve one after competing for a few years, and also for the sanity of your fanbase :)

The two horrible cheating bastards... Letter writing, cheating Arse anal tactics, they know what are they dooing... Purposely injuring the best oposition players ( Rodri, Khusanov... Yesterday they hunting down midfielder Onana... Then elbowing the goalkeepers neck and hands by first goal they scored... And that ugly **** merino ( he grinded Onana's foot) not beeing sent off for permanent dirty fouling... Fuck off Tarquins !
Horrible cheating bastards, and the media ignore it.

There would be a sustained campaign against Pep if he ever did this.

The UK sports media are absolutely fucking pathetic.

Get it re Skelly tbh. Although I let him off personally since he’s a young lad and Haaland did say ‘who the fuck are you’ to him haha. Granted at the time I also didn’t have a damn clue who he was but you’re gonna give it big as a teenager if in the next game you score against him haha.

Gabriel does the same shit at 30 with a career total of 0 major trophies though. Now thats a guy that deserves all the hate he gets

He can do his Haaland impersonation whilst warming the Arsenal bench, and Nico O'Reilly can give him a wave whilst he's watching England sat on his sofa at home.
Nico is ten times the player with ten times less hype.

I fucking hate this habitual line stepping, they ruined the league by doing whatever the hell they want to the GK on set pieces. Used to be that you were simply not allowed to make any contact with the keeper. Look at this now, you can just elbow them, grab their arm, do whatever you want. And under the pretense of "well the keeper should do better" we're allowing clear fouls to be given and mostly arsenal benefit. Dogshit turn for the worse.

The way the referees handle it will change at the end of the season. It's just part of operation "let Arsenal win the league". Good for the League. But it's unsustainable now everyone is doing it. The game is a mess. The response is for goalkeepers to push their own players into attackers to try to make room. It's just a ridiculous situation and one that will inevitably be sorted in the summer.

God, I hate the sport these days. It's all "to hell with playing the best football, let's find a new way to abuse the rules". On-field, off-field. It's all bullshit and it's all the fault of the stupid authorities.

Football is currently the most unwatchable it has ever been and I think Arteta & his cronies have played a major role in helping it get to where it currently is.

There is just no way he should be rewarded with silverware for helping take the game down this route.

The reality is, they are a very good outfit and we will do very well to finish above them
There is a lot of football to be played yet between now and the end of May.

After only a few games, people were saying that Littlewoods were going to walk the League and we were being written off.

I agree that cheating Arsenal are looking good and they have a decent squad, but we have a richly deserved reputation for producing a strong showing post-Christmas.

Players like Reijnders and Cherki are still adapting to English football, and will continue to improve.

I’m not saying that we’re going to win the League, but I don’t think cheating Arsenal will have it all their own way.

Did you still have a soft spot for Arteta after he made those post game comments saying how he was happy for Thomas Partey when he scored in match because of everything he was going through off the field?
