Zubimendi already has his own chant. To the tune of 'when Johnny comes marching home'.

'He came to us from sunny Spain, Zubi, mendi.
He hates the scum from down the lane, Zubi, mendi
He came to us in London Town, to turn the f*cking Scousers down
Zu-bi-men-di, number 36'

You'll have Zinchenko dancing for hours in the car park with that one

You've just made that up haven't you, in the vain hope that some other gooners see it on here and sing it?
:-)

If we sign Madueke we'll have given Chelsea £115m for Havertz and Madueke. Let that just sink in.

£60m would be a nice little fee for us. We pretty much recouped the entire Havertz fee and we're about to make a £20-30m profit on Madueke.

And yet we're haggling with Sporting over £5m for the most prolific striker in Europe....

We've just signed Madueke for £52m from Chelsea......

Apparently we still have £200m to spend, should be enough to get Nicholas Jackson, Calvin Phillips, Rasmus Hoijlund and Darwin Nunez though the door.....

Yous also paid intotal 75 million for Jesus and Zinchenko.lol
To be fair both those lads were what we needed at the time, changed the mentality and we went from 5th to running City close-ish for the league.

I still think Jesus can do a job, just not as an out and out number 9. He was a handful at times in his City days.

Zinchenko is surplus to requirements though - just too error-prone at the back.

A lot of gooners that I know have lost patience with Lego, this might be a little too far for them now. But whatever happens Lego had better deliver the Prem this season, or else.

A few months back I was listening to a load of Arsenal Fans calling/emailing into TalkSport to whinge about Arteta and the progress he is making.

In my opinion, he has done a very good job in the time he has been there. Trophies may be minimal, but he has got them competing at the top again - something none of the managers before him had done. They may have finished 2nd three years in a row - but they came 2nd to a Treble Winning City team, and then a Four-midable City team. I think you could pick any Premier League Team from any era and they'd have finished 2nd behind us in those two seasons! Last season was probably their best opportunity, but again Liverpool were very good and they only finished 10 points behind - along with a run to the Semi Finals of the Champions League! All without a recognised striker! If you asked an Arsenal fan at the beginning of last season if they'd take 2nd place and a Champions League Semi Final, they'd have taken it!

I think he's doing a good job, and this expectation to win the league and "Second isn't good enough" from their fans is just deluded, when you look at who they have been finishing second to! If they stick with Arteta, I've no doubt he'll win them a title, and trophies. But - lets be honest - they won't stick with him, and they'll have to start all over again with another rebuild and it'll take them even longer to win a title.

Also, who are they going to get? Who is out there now that would deliver them the title?

And looking back, I bet they wish they'd given Unai Emery more time? They'll only look back and regret it if they force Arteta out!

Where’s the media pressure on these tarquins to win the league, Arteta has spent something like £1 billion in the transfer market but not a peep out of the media about him winning trophies and walking on thin ice if he doesn’t.
