What a horrible bunch of cheats that Arsenal team is. Every challenge, the simplest of touches and they are down like they have been shot. Clutching heads usually irrespective of wether they have actually had head contact. You will have noticed when Sunderland scored their equaliser there was Gabriel feigning a head injury to try and get the goal chalked off. With their American football tactics and blatant simulation of injury they are horrible to watch. I really hope we beat them to the PL but if we don't someone else does. All this has to come from Arteta, he certainly didn't learn it from Pep.

Tough fixtures with a depleted squad, Spurs much better away from home also.

Newcastle (A) Leeds (H) Fulham (A) Sunderland (H) Palace (A) West Ham (H) Forest (A)

Newcastle & Palace tough but got to fancy us to win the other 5.

Actually we should be a lot less depleted after the international break.

The key match will be City away in April. I do think people are overreacting though to Arsenal dropping points for the 1st time in 10 matches. Plenty of time to go in the season but doing an 'eye test' on the match showed Arsenal fighting back very well in the 2nd half to go ahead (and should have pulled clear really) but then Sunderland had a good go at them in the last 10 mins and got the draw, well deserved and fair play.

But nothing tells me from watching that match that Arsenal are on a wobble. If I'm being critical it would be to ask why Arteta made only 1 sub when it was clear Rice, Calafiori, Eze etc were knackered and he could have brought Norgard, MLS, Nwaneri, Hincapie etc on.

Re that fixture list, Chelsea away will be tough, Villa too but then again most PL away days aren't easy. I wouldn't think City's will be any easier, particularly as you have 4 away games in the next 7 (after today) vs our 3, just win 1 match at a time (starting today) and crack on from there.

If I'm being critical it would be round Arsenal players feigning injury. You surely cannot like that element of their game?

I'm guessing their set piece coach will be treating it like special teams in American Football. Everything is planned - every block, every run, every move. It's effective. Arsenal are just the first to perfect it.

Why? The one sure thing in football is set pieces. You know you're going to get corners and free kicks. Up until now the plan for all teams appears to have been:

1. Corners - taker holds left hand, right hand or both hands up then lumps the ball in the area in the hope someone gets on the end of it or you get a lucky bounce. The only planned one appears to be the hoof to the edge of the area and hope someone can get a volley on target.

2. Free kick - just outside the area a player runs up and shoots. We're never actually told the stats for accuracy as it's probably embarrassingly pish. No real thought goes into it. Just run up and kick the ball.

Arsenal have now found a way to get a decent amount of goals from corners - good on them.
 
A draw at Sunderland may turn out to be a good result come the end of the season but good to see them finally drop points, they very nearly won it though
