Look I'm not seeking a fight and after this post I'll leave it be on this argument as I'm a guest on this forum and the mods have messaged me at times over my membership here to wind my neck in (and on reflection rightly so as they don't need a bunch of non-City fans coming here to wind up the regulars) but as a point of correction, re City fans not berating Silva, you can check out multiple matchday threads over the past 12 months and some members here have called him out for being too slow, seemingly not bothered etc. I didn't make this up.
Anyway I want to clarify that my comments on Silva were based on my perceptions of him today and not on his past achievements as he has been an unbelievable match winner in the past and at his peak was above the aforementioned Saka/Madueke etc. And my perceptions may be incorrect (not the first or last time I'll be wrong) as I don't see him day in day out like City fans will.
That's it, I'll leave it be, I'm not looking to make enemies, once again I appreciate that I'm a guest on this fine forum, something that absolutely would never be afforded to me on something like RAWK or thefightingcock and for that I remain very appreciative.
The maths? Maths is a big part of my job but at this point of season you need to do the eye test and you guys don’t look like winning it.I don't get the maths here. Arsenal aren't great at attacking, City haven't been as solid at the back, we've played 17 games and Arsenal are 2 points ahead despite the aforementioned. So how exactly does this make City more likely to win the league? Assuming the status quo remains Arsenal would win the title by 5 points. For that to change one of the 2 sides has to either get better from here on in or get worse. Knowing what's more likely is guesswork, albeit City do have form for going on epic runs.
At the 1969 Cup final, he told Princess Anne to send his greetings to her parents.Tony Coleman won a League Championship and FA Cup with City, As far as I know, he gave one of his medals to a lad who he didn't know and swapped the other for a bag of apples. Never had it confirmed but not heard anything to the contrary.
He was, shall we say, a bit of a character and should he ever write an autobiography it would certainly be interesting.
Your point about Saka is well made. He mostly gets very positive media coverage and is obviously very talented. But i have watched him closely on TV and I believe his decision-making in the final third is pretty poor. I am not sure he has improved much since he first burst into the Arsenal team. He does have great potential but has not yet achieved it.This is fair enough re Saka. We have a striker (Gyokeres) who hasn't lit the world on fire, we play low blocks most weeks and yet there is always at least one moment every game where either Saka or Odegaard has a simple ball to put Gyokeres through or easy cross to him and the player doesn't do it. Saka in particular - he's a greedy bastard at times. So game intelligence is probably a factor.
Unbelievable, the bullshit that some people come out with.

I remember hearing him being interviewed on a late-night radio show a long time ago. He was a long-distance lorry driver in Australia at the time and he said he didn't like the Australians. Rum ****, as we used to say.Tony Coleman won a League Championship and FA Cup with City, As far as I know, he gave one of his medals to a lad who he didn't know and swapped the other for a bag of apples. Arsenal were really poor going forward again.
