Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

They will drop points another couple of times this season without a doubt. That was them at 100% today and they weren’t good enough
Agree . While they played better than they have in recent weeks this team has run out of steam. Their only player that was any good was Eze. Not sure why he was pulled off and I was relieved when he was .

People trying to say that arsenal played well. If the Donnarumma mistake doesn’t occur we win that comfortably 3-0.

They are a bang average team and even though I don’t think we were at our peak today we still clearly outclassed them
Maybe it was because cheating Arsenal came to play, didn’t park the bus, and didn’t resort to their usual feigning injury and time wasting.

You’re probably right. I just didn’t think they had much to offer at all. Donnarumma gave them a lifeline which also made us a bit more nervous. Our final ball and decision making wasn’t that great and on another day we could have carved them open and got a hatful.

PSG would have put 5 goals past Arsenal in that match

Surely the board must be asking about the annual return of points in April with Legohead in charge.
My question is in the biggest game of the season so far why is your super star striker benched ?

Oh and one final thing. How come Arsenal didn’t play their 100mill ballondor favourite midfielder Declan Rice?

Surely he didn’t go missing in yet another big game

When is this overrated clown going to actually get called out by pundits and the English media

Been saying for ages that players like him are the reason England won't win anything.

Nothing against him personally, he seems a decent lad but he's just nowhere near as good as advertised and becomes invisible when he comes up against a proper midfield. You just can't do that against really good teams. It's been a problem for England too. They get past the teams they should but then fall short when they meet a good team and the midfield gets dominated.

Not singling out him as the entire reason, that would be extremely unfair but he's a prime example of the medias warped idea/narrative of what a "top player" is.

Fucking already sick of hearing how good Arsenal played today. It just shows you how shit they've been all season. We were the better team today, we pushed hard for the win and they countered because they couldn't take the game to us fully. Said it a load of times on this thread and im saying it again if you want to become the Champions of England then fucking well step uo and play like it. Shit house of a team no matter what happens from here on in and yeah they're fans fucked off sharpish at the final whistle.
They apparently played the best they have all season and we still beat em

On arsenal fan tv in their player ratings video they gave him a 7 out of 10. The primary reason was because ‘he ran around a lot’

The guy was completely anonymous but his PR game is so strong that his supporters will look for anything to try make out that he plays well and justifies his price tag

Ridiculous

Id say most of our players were probably a 7 out of 10 and we won and all of them more involved than rice

Yesterday's result means Arsenal have to change the way they play. They cannot be pragmatic. This has forced Atrteta's hand and they have to go for it. They played better against us than they have for a long time but will they do this against lesser teams? Could go either way. Restraints come off and they open up and get results. Or, having to change their style they leave themselves more open defensively. Hopefully the latter.

This is what may catch them out the fact that they have to go out and win games comfortably which its not for them to do ............this so called solid defence is conceding goals for fun now so whats it gonna be like when they have to open up.

I have to temper that a little. They won't be playing a team as good as us in their remaining five fixtures.
