If anyone actually saw after the final whistle they would know that these guys are absolutely spent. Players laying on the ground or on their haunches everywhere

This two leg semi final has come at a horrific time for them

Their CL semi is probably against the worst team it could come against. The other side of the draw wouldn't be a nasty game of football. They may stand less chance of winning on the other side but it'd be a fairly clean game.

Simeone and his lot will absolutely set about them, have them rattled etc. If Atletico turn up, it'll be a pretty taxing two games for a team already looking nervy.

Typical manager deflection from Arteta bringing up a non incident to distract from his shaky win yesterday . But someone should tell him the idea is to stick to the game that's just been played otherwise you come across as a manager fighting relegation or for your job who's keeping a tally for a grievance procedure ...Heads gone and we are living inside it playing ticcy taccy with his neurones.

TBH I didn't see what Arteta was on about. He's referring also to Nick Pope not getting a red but there was a covering defender so yellow was the right call.

Lego is fast becoming a caricature, a funny little meme that friends send to one another in text messages. He's like the Herbert Lom character from one of those Pink Panther films, where he starts to develop a facial tic and seems to see Clouseau everywhere. We've got to him, and we're wearing him out: eating away at his self-confidence, making him buckle under the immense pressure we've put on him with our recent run of victories.
He wants to drag his team over the finishing line, worthy victors after a bruising season, but he's not going to do it like most men would: gritted teeth, steely determination, stamina, and the courage to stand up and fight. All he's done is bask in the limelight of a win and deflect attention from his shortcomings after a defeat.
This, after all, is the man whose dull, dreary negative approach to the modern game is to spend billions on players and then instruct them all to go out on the pitch, fall over a lot, feign injury, and take as long as possible over a throw-in.

Arsenal fans, ask yourselves, do you really want to see this man in charge of your team for the foreseeable future?

I’ve never seen a fanbase with such little belief and backbone in my entire life.

I hate the scousers with every fibre of my being but at least the rats get behind their team and show some grit.

This lot are the biggest load of wet blanket mard arses ever.
Yes, the difference between AFC & LFC fans is remarkable.
The Scousers are deluded, but are unbelievably cocky, arrogant and one-eyed. Klopp was the perfect manager for them.
Gooners just want to blame everything and everyone, with an instant hatred of any player who doesn't perform. Arteta won't be there next season if they don't win the League.
The Trafford Tramps fans are more like the Scousers, in my opinion...

Arteta saying Khusanov shuda been sent off last week
He’s cracking up harping back to a nothing incident that no one thought at the time was a foul
I had to rewind that to see if I’d heard right. What a dick. I’m not even sure I know which incident he’s referring to?! No mention of the fact Gabriel should have been sent off which was a much more blatant offence
