I’ve never seen a fanbase with such little belief and backbone in my entire life.

I hate the scousers with every fibre of my being but at least the rats get behind their team and show some grit.

This lot are the biggest load of wet blanket mard arses ever.
What an absolutely weird take on the situation.

And no apparent knowledge whatsoever of the problems we had with injuries last season.

Or maybe he’s just ignoring the facts.

Or, he’s more desperate to win the title than he would like to admit.

So beating Arsenal (again) is destroying Arteta's reputation? Nobody asked him to leave City, and as far as I can see his reputation so far is one FA Cup win with a team their former manager built 6 years ago.

Although apparently the two Community Sheild wins, both in penalties, count as "major trophies" lol.

Lego is fast becoming a caricature, a funny little meme that friends send to one another in text messages. He's like the Herbert Lom character from one of those Pink Panther films, where he starts to develop a facial tic and seems to see Clouseau everywhere. We've got to him, and we're wearing him out: eating away at his self-confidence, making him buckle under the immense pressure we've put on him with our recent run of victories.
He wants to drag his team over the finishing line, worthy victors after a bruising season, but he's not going to do it like most men would: gritted teeth, steely determination, stamina, and the courage to stand up and fight. All he's done is bask in the limelight of a win and deflect attention from his shortcomings after a defeat.
This, after all, is the man whose dull, dreary negative approach to the modern game is to spend billions on players and then instruct them all to go out on the pitch, fall over a lot, feign injury, and take as long as possible over a throw-in.

Arsenal fans, ask yourselves, do you really want to see this man in charge of your team for the foreseeable future?
Great post, spot on.

It’s someone in the Arsenal group on Reddit, that’s like some secret inner sanctum of super-incels.

I think his absolute desperation to win it isn't in question. I'm half expecting them to throw the CL tie to help get them over the line.

When you have a team full of nearly men/players you are not going to win anything. That's including the manager.

The best worst result for us

Or something like that
Just looking for all the media commenting that Arsenal’s win against Newcastle is the “best outcome City could have hoped for” in view of the fact they didn’t significantly improve their goal difference. You know, just like they described our win AWAY at Burnley where we should have scored 10 goals
:-)

Surely a defeat for cheating Arsenal would have been the best we could have hoped for?

Or is that being too simplistic?

They looked completely exhausted, Newcastle who lost 4 games in a row had more shots and possession than them on their own ground. Early goal saved them but they had to park the bus and defend the entire second half. That's them with 6 days of rest btw. Now, Atletico away followed by Fulham 3 days later then Atletico 3 days later again and after that West Ham away 4 days later. I think they'll collapse and drop points in one if not both of those PL games. Fulham and West Ham are in a better form too.

Fulham chasing Europe, hammers fighting relegation as well

Saw the last few minutes, they were panicking like fuck. Apparently they were as nervous as hell for the entire match despite taking an early lead. Not a chance this lot are going to win their last 4 matches.
I only give them Birnley as a cert. Fulham might get a point next week and both West Ham and Palace could also get something off them.

If anybody scores first against them I think they'll panic like hell and they could collapse completely. Always difficult to call but they don't look like a team that's marching towards the title with confidence.

I had to rewind that to see if I’d heard right. What a dick. I’m not even sure I know which incident he’s referring to?! No mention of the fact Gabriel should have been sent off which was a much more blatant offence
I remember the incident, which i believe was cleared by VAR. Khusa barely brushed his hand/arm against havertz as they were coming together, afterwhich havertz threw himself to the ground.
I was actually surprised he wasn't booked for simulation.
