They've played once a week since January. Did you see how they played against Sunderland? That's how far off they are when they have to rotate the squad. They'll recruit in the summer and be better, but when the pressure is truly on they won't be anywhere near the title. It's easy to perform once a week without any pressure.

It will be interesting to see how much they spend in summer. A 40 game season can’t have earned them much. The champions league money will help but they have quite a few squad gaps. Carrick will get the job and with Holland’s help on tactics they could be effective

A few months back — I think it was on here — I read that you can't be committing a foul while the ball is not yet in play. The poster who put it seemed fairly certain about the rule. I confess I was unaware of that. If that is the rule then I think it is a totally cretinous one, but what can you say?
Anyone who can enlighten me about this one? Preferably with a bit of quoted official text to back up (i.e. not just an opinion).

They'll essentially be in the same boat as Crystal Palace next season - too many games for a substandard team where they'll struggle negotiating the premier league, domestic cup competitions and the champions league.

It's a piece of pish playing once a week with the same team. Once players have to rotate and play out of position the shit will hit the fan (again) and the manager will be moved on.

What we know is if someone being fouled in the box from a corner or a cross if the ball not going near you they let it go?! Why? Because you look at two people dragging and holding Haaland down nothing happens look at silva doing the same no foul!

What gets me with the corner before ball is played you can grab holder push do what you want! So why don’t that happen on throw ins

I’ll guarantee you now mate those cunts will be up there next season.

The CL will mean they can attract better players and they’ll add 4-5 so they can cope with the extra demands.
