Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

A huge respect to Arteta, he created a process, followed it and it paid off in the end. Everybody laughed at him, derided him, called him names..and who is laughing now! Love or hate the way they play, the are deserved winners in the title race that never was. And if they bum PSG with an ugly 1:0 even better.

Lose (hopefully slapped) in the CL Final and their season of Rugby Line-outs will fade into a very unimpressive memory.
Ooooh, I don't know about that. Once Pep has disappeared from the media the RDAHMeedya will be milking this title like they've never milked a title since the Rags last won one, if anyone can remember.

It’s already getting limited coverage. Like it didn’t happen almost. Sure the parade will be shown like ours but should they lose the CL it will all fade into absolutely nothing. Nothing like 2012 or the Villa game. People would have talked about that up and down the land and it remains in the memories. Add centurions into it too and of course the treble.
Nobody will remember this Arsenal win bar Arsenal fans.

Then there’s the World Cup to completely cancel it out. lol.

PSG win the CL final and then the WC ramping right up will do us all a massive favour. Ignore the next few days and its like it never happened.

I've never had an issue with Arsenal. Their social media presence makes them hard to like, but they used to be the team that stopped the rags so I backed them.

However, it's really frustrating that they've won the league playing a brand of football that's testing the rules. Diving under minimal contact whilst grappling the opposition from corners. Time wasting. Tactical time outs.

It's not been a win for football. Their fans won't care, but they should.

I suppose you don't miss those days when Fern and Rodri didn't let opposition MF have a ball more than 3 seconds.

Roughest, manhandling side we've seen since Leeds could end the season with no red cards and no penalties?

But yeah, hAts OfF tO aRseNaL... fuck 'em, the anti-football boring cunts. Sooner would've seen Villa win it if we couldn't.

Yeah, I'll be keeping my hat on thank you very much. A limited team with a limited manager playing limited football. Their fans know it too. Given every advantage and still nearly pissed it away.

When the fouled the opposition they gave away a free kick and when they did it consistently they got booked. That's miles away from wrestling the opposition to the ground yet diving like you've been shot when it's in the opposing penalty area.

You actually want them to win the Champions League? Bizarre.

Just watched a compilation of their goals from corners, virtually every one involved blocking or fouling the keeper. Arsenal are cheats with the Premier League, Pigmol and var complicit. Good luck selling this shit around the world.
Following on I just had a chat with my next door neighbour who's an Arsenal/Bolton Wanderers fan where I offered my congratulations. He agreed that they got away with murder over the season with their dark arts.

I don’t think we did enough to win the title but I’m not changing my view on Arsenal. They have put football back 40 years. They are an anti-football team. Even against Burnley they were diving at every opportunity. Let’s just call it what it is. They are cheats. A stain on football as far as I am concerned.
