Flap, flap, flap? No, fuck off.

You're more flappy than Flap Flap McFuckFlap from Flappyland!

Not really mate. I just hate losing and even more so when there is a trophy at stake. When was the last time we lost 3-0? or worse? I feel sorry for the fans who had paid good money travelling down to see us 3-0 down and bringing Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair on. I think Pellegrini is great, but he's not perfect and I think he badly misjudged how seriously to take this game. I just hope he has not badly misjudged how seriously to take the opening games of the season. If we are top of the table by October then I will hold my hands up and say fair enough. Equally, if we are 8 points behind, I will say we brought it on ourselves.

Several things we need to consider

Boyata is a liability
Navas is short of match fitness
Yaya is 'easing' himself back in
Nasty is short on confidence
Milner should stay
David needs rest
Willy could prove costly
Dzeko needs better service
Sami needs game time
Fernado is going to have a steep learning curve
Jovetic is not the finished article
Serious question; what's he been doing since June 23rd (nearly 7 weeks ago)? He played no more than a bit part in the American tour. Should he not be rested by now?

perhaps I should have said game time

He should take a leaf out of Yaya's book, he gets game time and a rest simultaneously ;)

Thank fuck I didn't bother going to that.

Feel for those that did.

I think next time we get there they needn't bother giving us 26000 tickets. 6000 will probably be sufficient because I really can't see how anyone will be arsed with that again if we don't take it seriously.

THIS++

Glad I spotted it early and didn't go - that was fecking embarrassing.
Still they beat us 3-0 in a friendly last summer and...

I wonder how much rest is enough rest for a player like Zabaleta who ran his bollocks off for Argentina all summer? As quick as the season comes around, it doesnt leave much time to get all the lads match fit (after holidays) for the start.

Personally I think we'll be fine and once its for real we will be well up for it. However, I do think we need to prepare ourselves for the possibility of a slow start to the season. Some tough games in the first couple of months and it will take some time to get integral members of the team up to speed.

Utter rubbish.
Feel sorry for the fans forking out to watch that crap.
Agreed. Shelling out a tidy amount to watch the team put in a ''couldn't be arsed'' performance. But hey; it was only a glorified friendly, so it doesn't matter.

So wait, I'm confused. Who're the champions now? Arsenal or Liverpool?

that's a good question !
Haven't the media got the Rags name on the title already anyone notice how many times they were mentioned during the game? thought I'd switched to all our yesterdays by mistake --think I'll unsubscribe from BT sport

Agreed. Taking the piss out of match going fans that was.

Apart from their goals, how many other chances did Arsenal create?
Yaya will get his arse in gear by next week hopefully,
I think Zuculini looks promising
Clichy is not a right back.
Nasri, like Barry at Villa lets the boo boys win.
Fernando will improve hopefully.
City will have drifted in the title betting, good time to get on.

Fernando looks as shit as Fernandinho did when he started with us. I'm hoping he turns out to be as good!

You are right about clichy, for me he is average whichever side he plays on and I doubt we will be seeing as much of him this season.

Boyota is crap, always has been, always will be yet some tool has given him a new contract. He must pinch himself.

Once again, with Silva we look decent, without him we look average.

Keeping him fit is key to our chances.

Yaya having the right mentality is also key to our chances. Not sure how that one will pan out.
