I would have been much confident with YaYa in our starting eleven, ACON could not have come at a worse time. With Aguero out aswell our forward line will really have to step up and make the most out of our chances, If balotelli plays i really hope he keeps his cool and dosent get sent off.

if we want to win the league then these are the matches we need to win. With ground to make up it's games like this where we can do it.
We lost at the Emirates last season and won the league.

Very true but i don't fancy pinning my hopes on united slipping up again. We need to win

We were top of the table for most of last season

We beat united at home last season and won the league , we have lost to them this season

We put 6 past them and improved our GD last season at OT which pretty much won us the league.

I dont see us in a better shape than last year and im hoping united lose some points so we can reduce the gap and win the derby to go top!

I'm not optimistic at all for this but slightly encouraged by having the league's best referee (touch wood) in charge. Arsenal have no injuries of note except Diaby, who is a perma-crock, while we do and we find it hard enough even against Arsenal when they miss players (like Wilshere). I think we should set up quite defensively for this and try to play on the break with five midfielders (3 holding, 2 attacking) and one striker (maybe Mario as he excels in such a role for Italy but can he be trusted?). Rodwell may be back apparently so we could play Barry - Garcia - Rodwell with Silva and Milner as the attacking midfielders, with Milner's graft we could be very hard to break down.

We have to find a way of beating Arsenal, Everton and Spurs if we want to have a chance of retaining our title. From now there are no excuses.

I think we will see Mario and Tevez together on sunday. Dzeko doesn't play as well with Tevez as he does with Kun. Balotelli also had a run out with the u21's earlier so think mancini has him pencilled in for this one.
