Staying at Travelodge Watford Sunday night to miss all traffic home anybody else doing that any pubs close normally park at Watford junction and train in, which station is nearest and were is best to park.
£29 per night for a family room.

Booked two nights, Sat & Sun, on Laterooms.

Park Hotel near Ilford - Twin, en-suite, breakfast - £110 total for the two of use.
There are four hotels owned by the same company all within about half a mile of each other.

Might not be the nicest place to stay but it looks okay for a couple of nights.

Rail travel £35 - so £90 each for Hotel & Travel - not too bad for London
