great play from city, absolutely beautiful to watch.

pity arsenal and their fans are such arseholes, they were moaning about everything and it was definetly a sending off.

But the way we played was brilliant, well until the arsenal fans and team went into melt down.....

arsenal played bad, we played brilliant.

They just tried to create a bad atmosphere, shame on them.


We played some absolutely brilliant football in that game.

Only way i could keep up today.Why did they have Keown on ,isnt he a coach at Arsenal,after 10 mins all he went on about was the sending off.He was nearly crying at 2-0,just get the feeling all weekend that the bbc were hoping that united would win and we wouldnt.

it was a certain sending off aswell ! arsenal fans absolutely lost the plot today. Arsenal should have tried there best and either got a goal or accepted defeat. Instead they just messed about. We could have scored alot more, just amazing team play from MCFC

Watched the game and to be honest you were the better team not brilliant because like a lot of our games lately we were as bad as you were good. He deserved to get sent off and yet again shows up the lack of quality we have in the team

Performance of Champions, now food for thought:

We were 10 pts behind at 3;30 come next Sat at 5pm we could be 4 pts just proving its far from over, Utd have a difficult game next Sunday away at Spurs when we will hopefully have put pressure on them to keep up the pace.
Fulham at home won't be easy they never are against them but if we turn in another perforamnce like to today it is 'game on'

Great game today and last time we won there I was stood in the clock end aged 14 how time flies.

Of course they did, all this City could be 10pts behind by Sunday night bollocks. I wonder how many of tomorrows newspaper headlines have had to be re-written tonight. Old Trafford was on edge when Liverpool pulled one back and Sturridge should have had a second. Fergie's got the media everyone over there pumped up to bursting this season about not losing it to us again. Not sure they could cope if they blow it and lose it. Pressure's all on them even Wellbeck admitted it's a good afternoon to go back home and watch the City game. Well tonight they know we're not going away anytime soon.

Delighted with the 3 points today, a real bonus given our record there. Milner is so under-rated, another exceptional performance today. Zab, as ever, makes me want to contemplate carrying another man's baby. Lescott deserves a pat on the back for that clearance, it would have been a really nervy few minutes if he wasn't in the right place.

Our support were brilliant too, £62 well spent, and they completely shut the gooners up apart from them screaming for red cards for every incident (it was inevitable that we would get one eventually). By the way, there seemed to be an awful lot of empty seats in the rest of the ground towards the end.

And as for Quinn's "performance" on sky, what a joke!

For the only two times a year I'll even consider saying this, come on spurs - though I now feel a little sick.

Come on fella.

We destroyed you first half and well, did and Arsenal on you, had you chasing shadows. You could have had 12 men on the pitch, you wouldn't have got anywhere near the ball.
