To be fair, in the match day thread i was critical of Kompany's challenge, i can still see why the referee gave it given the pace of the action and no replay however if you put that clip in front of a FAIR committee we would have a good case to have this over turned.

It seems that some blues painted themselves into a corner in the pre match thread and are now trying to mitigate the result!

We were brilliant from start to finish, this was Arsenal away, remember that, even down to 10 men, a tough place to go!

Never a red card for Vinny either, delighted with that result

i have just been shaking my head in disbelieve at some comments in this thread...we went at them from the off and every player looked like they wanted it badly even if they had 11 men on the pitch i would not have doubted getting a win at all!

Great win and played really well right from the kick off, also Aguero, Yaya and Nasri missing.

Some of the comments in the in match thread were totally embarrassing and just makes me wonder what game some Blues are watching or what they actually expect.
