Happy with the team. Yaya needs to be ready for Bayern and Chelsea. Hopefully the break does him some good. I would have loved to see Mangala partner Vinny, but I guess we'll have to wait until we play Sheff. Wed.

would have preferred 4-3-3 not to get overrun. lets see how it pans out, we need to keep possession like normally if we just defend its soon one way traffic and goal is question of time then.

It may well be a 4-3-3 going forward. I think David will play more like a midfielder rather than a second striker. Milner and Navas to provide width.

Just seen its Clattenburg.
Oh well

Yep Wellshit goal and a sending off written all over for typical City. Thank God we're not that side anymore..............

We can't complain not seeing the same team on paper every week, its obviously a tactical line up best suited to pick up points in todays game, got to trust the managers got this one right.

I think it speaks volumes about where his head is at. A fully committed, keen player would be busting a gut to start in a game like this, surely?

Same Arsenal team that struggled to beat a managerless Palace on opening day?

Same Arsenal team that conceded two against an Everton team who then shipped six against Chelsea.

Arsenal have some top players but let's not turn them into something they are not?

Perhaps it's best not to play yaya 3 times in a week, in which case this is the best game for him to miss, stops him breaking his neck to get back here to prepare

Stop talking sense Tolm....

We can beat these today

Manager utilising his squad to cope with a busy schedule, shock fucking horror!

damn internationals but Yaya should still have been good enough for the bench.

No options on the bench for central midfield either as it stands

On paper, we look very disciplined in midfield and have more than enough quality up front to do the damage. Arsenal are lacking in pace and defensive workrate in midfield - especially against our three of Milner, Fernandinho and Lampard. Zabaleta and Navas are going to run rings around Monreal all afternoon, Ozil doesn't have a defensive bone in his body. Sanchez and Welbeck are a threat, as is Ramsey, but we've got enough pace and grit at the back to cope. If we keep our concentration we'll take this game. It'll be a tight, nervy affair but we'll be well worth 3 points come the end of this.

2-1 City.

Well I got my wish that Milner gets a start. We will have better work rate off him and Navas and they will help out the full backs all game. Milner is always the key to our wins/good performances away at the best sides.

Good luck to Frank! Let's hope he can bag against an enemy of his, and ours!

I fucking hate Arsenal.

Let's outwork them here and grind a win out!

FFS some reality on here at last. Sick of the moaning, without a ball being kicked yet.
You can safely say I will be nowhere near the match thread today ;-)

not really, flamini while not built like one is a DM, Ramsey has enough pace and wilshere just about does enough defensively.
