I think Mangala will play.

JH, PZ, VK, EM, GC, DS, YT, one of the Ferns, SN, ED, SA.

3 - 1 City win goals from Dzeko, Sami, and Yaya. Their goal will obviously be WellHard.

Need to keep Nasri away from this game.

Hart
Sagna - Kompany - Demichelis - Kolarov
Yaya - Fernando/Dinho
Milner - Aguero - Silva
Dzeko

Although i see what you mean with Nasri it won't happen.

As for Milner ... just no. Jack of all trades and master of none, and more importantly, won't create much.

Debuchy - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Gibbs
Flamini - Ramsey
Sanchez - Cazorla - Ozil
Welbeck

Does anybody know enough about Arsenal to come up with any other line-ups?

Are Giroud and Walcott definitely out?

What about Ox and Wilshere?

If they play the above line-up we would probably do well to target their left side (Koscielny/Gibbs), so maybe Navas to start. Debuchy/Flamini might not be the most secure either, so maybe play Kolarov? That could be pushing our luck though as we're at theirs.

We have Silva and Aguero for that. Nasri goes missing away to Arsenal, has done in every game we've played there since he came to us.

Milner is ideal for workrate in a game like this. What we need is defensive support for Sagna and someone who's always willing to push beyond the last man and whip a cross in. Milner or Navas could do this role but Navas' confidence always seems to be dented in big games, so Milner gets the nod.

Milner and Silva know each other inside-out as well.

Walcott pencilled in for a return versus spurs so we can assume he's out.

I read somewhere ozil is a doubt after an injury in the internationals

Yeah, well the problem for me is that I don't think Milner is either good enough nor useful enough unless he's played in the same team as Silva and Nasri. Otherwise we become far too one dimensional because basically then, you stop Silva and you stop all creativity for our forwards. You need Nasri for his understanding with Yaya. Yes he's had a habit of going missing against Arsenal, but I expect a big performance from him after the Stoke result.

In fact I expect a big performance from everyone after the Stoke result.

Not sure why you've got Sagna in - I believe Zaba's fine and should start.

Re: Arsenal Vs City Pre Match Thread

My mate is over and we're gonna watch the game in an arsenal pub over here. Will both be wearing our new away tops. Hopefully should be walking out with smiles on our faces. Like most I want to see Mangala get a start.

Away pub is the Drayton but small and always rammed before the game. U can sometimes drink cans outside but it's hit n miss depending on the mood of the police.
We tend to drink round euston/kings cross before game then a short hop on the tube. After the game the Drayton is a lot easier to get into and is straight across the bridge where the away fans exit

Whats Station by the Emirates is for away fans.. Thanks in advance.
Highbury and Islington or hollaway road are the best staion's if your coming from kings cross or euston.

Cheers mate, appreciated.. Will be coming from KIngs Cross
