Arsene Wenger. A Thousand Games

All told I think he's alright. Fairly sure he errs on the side of football romantic rather than win at all costs behaviour like Ferguson or Mourinho, and in the very much win at all costs environment of top level football I would rather more managers like him (and Pellegrini, with whom I'm sure he shares a fair amount in common) than those who solely believe the ends justify the means.

Should have won more than he has done, but it's not his fault he's French.

I have a respect for him, but I don't like him. He doesn't grate as much of Bacon face or Moroniho though.

I think his time at Arsenal should have been up by now, for a club of that size staying in close proximity to the top of the league for the last 8/9 years, not winning anything and a rare title push isn't really achieving. He did well to convince everyone of that 4th place cup existing.

Great achievement none the less.

Performance in the cups has definitely been disappointing. Some bad memories there especially in the last few years. But in terms of league performance I think he's done a commendable job considering that in that time we've also got ourselves a new stadium.

Does anyone know how many games it is since he actually won anything?
He's been there 18 years, last trophy 9 years ago, so approx. 500 games.

He did a lot for footy here so for that i thank him as much as you can thank a man.

That said he is a but of a cry baby and needs to stop sulking his vision of financial prudence is not a universally embraced ethos.
That includes shutting the fuck up moaning about us.
