Do you think Theresa May is handling Brexit well ?

She handled today and the rhetoric and jingoism of Juncker and Barnier perfectly yes.

She has a duty to the british public and not a few self entitled, un elected bureaucrats who are shitting their pants at the huge black hole in their finances and think threats to us is the way to go.

Brexiters, I need reassurance from you.
On the steps of Downing Street today the reMAYner warned of "serious" consequences if the Brexit talks failed, which would be felt by "ordinary working people across the country".
" If we don't get the negotiation right your economic security and prosperity will be put at risk and the opportunities you seek for your families will simply not happen" she said.
HANG ON , this is the first time this doomsday warning has been mentioned by the Government.
I thought we were in complete control of this process i.e we try to negotiate a good deal for the UK and if we don't get one we walk away with no deal which whilst not ideal would still be be ok.
So what's the problem? Why suddenly this new message from May of "serious consequences" and " economic prosperity and security being at risk".?
Leavers I need to know!
mcfc where r u? Let's be 'avin you!

There is nothing in article 50 that says a country leaving the eu has to agree to pay whatever the other remaining states want let alone before any negotiation over trade security and people. They are making stuff up as they go along. Mays lack of specific comment on their deliberate leaks and made up gossip sugests to me that she is playing them perfectly.
Spot on mate. They are just trying to influence our GE and get an EU friendly coalition govt. The cunts need to offer something in return for the 'brexit divorce bill' or we may as well just tell them to fuck off and walk away. Junker is just giving it billy big balls at the moment to try and scare the French electorate into voting for the EU banker instead of Le Pen.

No reassurance available I'm afraid Len. A50 done - we're fucking off. You are too late.

But why all of a sudden and for the first time the warning of dire economic consequences of Brexit?
Come on mate, you didn't answer the question.
Not sure tbh. Possibly Tory lying? I'd hardly be surprised. I'd imagine the dire consequence warning is meant to make us yearn for something 'strong and stable'.

But based on that reply, it's either a lie ( which is serious) or it's not a lie ( which is also serious).
May was never for leaving and now she's warning we may feel some pain. Hardly news is it. Not even the hard core brexit types have said there will be no short term impact of leaving, but that's what we voted for. As I see it the economic case for a soft brexit or remain, while persuasive is essentially the same economic case that could have been made for appeasing Hitler in '38, except Junker is a bit shit.

Equating the EU to Nazi Germany? Are you Boris Johnson??

Err wrong.
The case for Brexit by the Leave campaign group and the Government has always been based on the assurance that we would be no worse off from day 1, if anything maybe better off.
PS May is not warning ' we may feel some pain', she's warning of dire economic consequences ( in your last post you implied she was lying - so which is it?).

Fuck knows. Do you think I'm mystic meg or something?

No, just someone who's taken two diametrically opposed positions on May's statement regarding the economic consequences of Brexit ( she's lying, she's not lying).
Possibly this means that I don't know? She's a tory pm - I'm sure somewhere you'll find an example of her saying she wants to help poor people if you look hard enough. The problem is Len that you seem to think everyone who is pro-brexit is a fan of Boris and Farage et all. Some of us are not, but do think the EU are cunts and even if we dont get the money on the side of the bus to spend on the NHS it's still worth taking any pain the wierd club decide to inflict in order to escape.

Bloody hell I think you're having a bit of a WUM moment here, her speech seemed a pretty clear message to me it was vote for me and I'll handle the exit negotiations the right way and the UK will emerge into broad sunny uplands, leave it to Jezza Dustbin and Alan Turin Abbott and we'll be in the shit big style. Just a bit of election mongering no more no less.

Seemed to me to be a pretty clear warning of dire economic consequences if we don't get the negotiations right.
I reached that conclusion because err...... that is what May actually said!
