The tabloids maths have also been way off, I've read several articles that have stated:
"Manchester City have made three signings.
Jerome Boateng for £10.5m
David Silva for £24m
and Yaya Toure for £28m brings Man City's spending to over £100m"

Good read though, very funny. Almost as good as the NOTW one, was that yours?
