Arturo Vidal

Bayern never bid 45m for him, no idea where this rumour came from. They offered Leverkusen €10m and said they won't pay more than that and if he wants to join Bayern, he needs to stay one more year and come on a free or Leverkusen must accept the bid. He was then sold to Juve for €12.5m.

I don't think he's as great as the hype around him these days, but he fits perfectly in Juve's midfield and his workrate allows Pirlo to do his thing. Don't think he will leave Juve the next years, great player.

your highlighted words are exactly why your club is the joint most arrogant and despicable club on the planet

Serie A is such a poor league , juventus walk the league but are put out of the CL by a mediocre galatasaray and you can blame the pitch all you like but they had a full set of group games to try and qualify

Some people on here are barmy

We will get Fernando for free this summer, no need for Vidal

Arturo Vidal is a player that if you can get him, you get him, in the same ways as Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Lahm etc. Even if that means changing formation, system or dropping a key player. He's that good.
He is the best central midfielder in the world (IMHO) and would walk into the Premier League with ease.

Imagine...

Away vs big sides (Barca, Bayern, Chelsea etc)
Vidal----Fernandinho
------Yaya

Home vs big sides
Vidal----Yaya

Away vs smaller sides
Fernandinho----Yaya

Home vs smaller sides
Fernandinho----Fernando

We will get Fernando, Vidal if you believe the rags will walk over broken glass barefooted to join them in a 20m deal.

While Vidal would be great and give us the best midfield in the world, there is no way Juventus will sell him. I am happy to see Fernando and Zuculini being brought in. Those two, plus Fernandinho, Yaya and maybe 1 of Rodwell/Garcia will give us a fine set of midfield options.

Whilst Ferguson was sat next to Antonio Conte at last nights Europa Cup final at the Juventus stadium he conveyed a message regarding a bid from Manchester United.

According to Sport Mediaset, Ferguson was also there to confirm Manchester United’s offer for Juve and Chile midfielder Vidal.

The proposal is thought to be worth €32m – around £26.7m – for the player already linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, this is still some way off the asking price of at least €40m - £36m.

Vidal turns 27 next week and has been one of Juve’s most prolific players this season, netting 19 goals in 49 games in all competition.

..............................

It's my belief that United will probably land him for an offer of €40m, Real though are thought to be interested too........
