It's just occurred that if the 1.8 ratio is correct, a likely consequence of safe standing would see united beating our 1934 attendance record against Stoke, if the entire Stretford End went all seater.

The record was for biggest ever home crowd for an English team.

Spurs got 85k at Wembley in a home champions league fixture. Arsenal's biggest ever home crowd was also a CL Wembley home fixture but below our 84k.

We can always still say we have the biggest ever home crowd outside Wembley though!

And also that it was the biggest English club ground attendance. Wembley is not Spurs' ground to my knowledge so I'm not sure they should get the record.
