You think that nobody should be allowed to go to a designated standing section if they want to stand, leaving everyone else to sit down and enjoy the game without getting their view blocked.

Screw it if the singing sections say it would help lets try it, and a big loud drum too if they want one... if the moaners don't like it let them have their own "quiet section" they can move to with blankets under every seat... If City introduced a safe standing season ticket, which should and probably would be cheaper than a seat season ticket, and any additional cost also included X, say £10-£20 to go towards displays, flags, etc, would you be happy paying that?

Build safe standing in the new North stand and make it BIG.

Lower prices for standing.

Main reason for taking it away was Hillsborough. But we subsequently know that it wasn't a contributing factor. If the ground had the relevant safety inspections and was police correctly the incident would have unlikely occurred. So what is the argument against it exactly.

I'd say it's likely any agreement to standing areas would want them to be pitchside.

Last time we got to officially stand away in a first team proper game, it was £15 and fairly local, only 1,500 turned up and there was no atmosphere. The players did get abuse at the end though.
