Asahi partnership... New beer in the ground

They did actually trial these quite a few years ago. Only problem I found with them was it took every last ounce of my self-restraint not to poke my finger up through the bottom of the pint 'to see what would happen'. Answer. Your hand gets covered in beer very quickly. Yes I've never had much self-restraint.
Yes I remember them the concourses was like a skating rink

I bought two pints of Asahi from the bar in Block 327 yesterday. I asked the girl serving me if there was a discount for Seasoncard and she said there was. I showed her my Seasoncard and I was charged £9.54. I'm not sure if the discount was applied or not.
Yep as was 4.77 after discount

It was only applied if spending over a Tenner and obvs if you asked.

Didn't try yesterday as didn't qaulify so can't confirm if still available, some comments suggest it was though.
It was applied in cb3 and I only bought one pint. No prob wen I asked

Im in SS3 and if you want a pint at half time then its go to the bar at 3:35 or dont bother. Had my daughter with me yesterday who wanted chips so queued up from about 3:30 we were second in the queue they opened the bar at 3:35 with absolutely zero pints pulled, pulled them as they were ordered which is fucking ridiculous (but not unexpected) on the plus side the Asahi was decent mainly because of the plastic cups though id say.

Got my 10% discount aswell just mentioned being a season ticket holder the girl didnt check
The minute Foden bagged I knew any chance of a drink before the second half was off the cards, thankfully they pre poured the tap water though!

They seem to have the staff doing the pouring for the token bar which meant they were slower serving us who had queued up at the normal bar.

I never knew the bars shut until 3:35, i thought they stayed open until the second half began.
You'd think theyd use the closed time to get prepared with beers ready, i know people moan about wanting a fresh pint though so they can't win sometimes.
