Without lying , Bancroft was doing his best to not ‘dob in’ Bairstow.
Its bollocks to be fair what bancroft is saying, covering for Bairstow and playing it down. Who in their right mind says hello by sticking their nut on someone, it just doesn't happen. Comes across as being a real drink culture in the england cricket team, which is fine if your not in the news and winning, but if we get hammered 4/5-0 then its simply not good enough.

Very possibly, but like the person above says, if there's any more to it you can guarantee the cctv will be released somewhere by someone.
Was it you that said you saw Bairstow out in Manchester at a casino at 4am with Stokes? I tend to agree with Bayliss - individuals making daft choices when on a night out rather than there being a drinking problem throughout the team. There doesn't appear to be a Flintoff or Botham etc within this lot so really it's just a case of not being a dickhead.

I met Bairstow a few months ago and he was a nice lad-and I was pissed and been annoying but he had a good chat with me.
Not me. maybe it isn’t a drinking culture, but like you say these guys need to be smarter and not put themselves in these positions, it’s a no brainer really.
