Ashes 2017/18

England look like an absolute shambles. From Stokes to Bairstow and Root moaning about the Aussies laughing off the Bairstow incident. Anderson moaning at a press conference in Oz about the type of bowling they're facing - they look really weak and that's not how you want to come across when playing in Australia..

The only thing that can save this tour is the fact this test is a day/nighter. If we lose here we'll lose 5-0.

Odds of 8/13 for Australia to win this test seems like buying money on the face of it, but I also think it’s reflective of the fact that Australia aren’t all that either. It could well go south for us from here and end up 5-0 but if that happens against this Aussie team it would be even more disappointing than the battering we received over there last time out. On that occasion, the issues in the England team were worse than they are this time round plus I feel that Australian team was slightly better than this one.

As you say, this day/night test ought to suit England and Perth tends to be swing-friendly so there is some hope.

I reckon we might be able to draw at least one so that we can avoid the whitewash. Cook scoring double digits would be a good help too

Rain delay! We have a chance!

edit: nevermind that didn't last long

What a hilarious run out. Probably wouldn't have happened either if Ali didn't let that slip!

Our bowlers are fucking shite on flat Pitchers no discipline bad bowl after bad ball 4 or 5 nil series defeat on the cards.

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Smith went early and then the mid and tail batsmen wreck us anyway.

England just don't have the firepower to run through them in Aussie conditions. Again we're sticking around and making it competitive but that's not going to result in wins.
