Ashley Young's dive is good for City

Young's done this in two home games on the bounce and nothing gets done about it, maybe it's different governing bodies, but it's double standards of the highest order for me. One rule for those red b'stards and another for the rest. What makes my blood boil (and it's still boiling after two days) is that some of the TV "pundits" are even saying that his latest plunge to the ground was "probably a penalty as there WAS contact". Utter bollox, lets call it what it is, it's cheating, and the little red shit is getting away with it. No come back at all.

Some people have been calling for the rules about retrospective action being changed and that when this happens these sort of decisions will be erradicated simply need to look at the retrospective officiating relating to QPR's red card appeal. This is such a bent and flawed process, if it wasn't so important to millions of fans it'd be almost laughable. The guy was a couple of yards offside, no question about it, so surely any match action after this must be seen as being irrelevant, but no, his red card is held up and he misses the next game. Unbelievable. And it's not the only case that can be used as evidence is it.

How many retrospective bans this season? Does this equate to the number of stamps/off the ball punches/late tackles/dives...etc...etc...etc we've all seen on TV replay shows?

Well, I've had a rant to both the FA and Premier League over the favoutism shown to the scum. I don't expect any responses but at least I feel a bit better

This is one of the points I was making with regards to WHO reviews these dives/dodgy decisions etc (top of page 10), here, we have Clark Carlisle, the type of man who'd be a potential 'reviewer' of such incidents, a man renowed for his supposed intellect and knowledge of the game, yet even he comes out with a complete load of bollocks, how the fuck can we have faith and respect in such a system when this is what we could potentially be dealing with.

As a UTD season ticket holder. I was surprised when I saw both of his dives . They at first,we're stone walls . But when I saw them again they were pathetic. But we were denied at Wigan so it swings in roundabouts.

Get a grip pal, it's swings and swings for your club and you know it.
Anyone who thought that either of those dives were penalties on first viewing at real time is either deluded or knows about as much about football as I know about ballroom dancing.

Denied at Wigan? Give it a rest. What about Fulham's pen? What about those two pens at Chelsea? How many pens at Stoke? etc...etc...etc. I could carry this on all night and all you'll be able to come back with is Wigan and Newcstle. Twice in a season, proper swings and roundabouts eh, like I said before, swings and swings.

The Wigan game was swings and roundabouts. You had two good penalty shouts whilst Wigan's ruled out goal should have stood, and Evans should have been sent off.

I agree you get some decisions against you, but the majority go for you, and this does not yet happen to City. it's difficult to quantify just what effect this has on our respective points totals

Refs seem to be frightened of giving decisions against Man Utd. I can't quite work out why refs should be biased against City, but it certainly seems to be the case. Even at Norwich we had 2 pen claims denied and Norwich nearly scored whilst hart was being fouled which was ignored by the ref and all this at 0-0.

Maybe the "luck" will change in the run-in.

Thanks for posting your views on bluemoon under your Utd name. Too many Utd fans do it under City pseudonyms. I expect it's the same on Utd message boards.

i think you`ll find wigan were denied a good goal and johnny i didnt touch her, should of got a red for a wild two footed lunge

That horse has well and trully bolted......it's as if this has only just started. It's been going on for fucking years.
