Ashley Young's dive is good for City

When Ronaldo came to England he dived, but because he got known for it he stopped getting the decisions. Same thing has happened to Suarez.

This will get a lot of coverage and is very high profile. And it's bound to rebound on them

Cry wolf and then when you really are hurt you will be ignored. The game is not bent, but now refs will think Young is. He now carries a reputation.

Time will tell

he will do it again and the ref will fall for it......same old shit
Sad to say but I completely agree with you.
No doubt in my mind we have been the best team in the league this season and it kills me we are likely to miss out on the title (and no I haven't lost hope) based on not getting anything from the officials other than the wrong end of the stick from officials and the FA consistently.
If we do not win the league it will feel as if we have been robbed as far as I am concerned.
It will make it extra special when we rub their faces in it next year.

Last weekend he did it, and I am sure that was a factor in Wigan escaping 2 good penalty shouts at the DW.

He's done it again in a game they were always going to win which means next time Utd have a penalty shout there's going to be a moment's doubt in the ref's mind, and that's all it takes.

Could be crucial now as Utd's remaining games are likely to be tight affairs: Everton, City, Swansea and Sunderland.

Refs aren't cheats. They are humans who are conned, and they watch the TV like the rest of us.

These orders come from the very top...

Everton will roll over and have their bellys tickled, you think Moyes wants to do us a favour?

It will be sorted they get at least a draw at our place lets have a wild stab and say the ref will be either Clattenburg, Mason, Atkinson or Webb.

Swansea and Sunderland have both started their summer holidays early.

As bobby has said it's over no matter what we do.

Clattenburg did ok last time, no ?

Clattenburg missed a clear pen for us so no he didnt do ok.

Why do I keep seeing these topics refs are cheats and corrupt when it's the players who are cheating week in week out. Your sitting at home with birds eye view from every angle making these calls. The ref is there at ground level legs and bodies in the way and cheating footballers doing utmost to get players booked or sent off or dodgy penalties. There needs to be a programme on every weekend to highlight and shame players to stop this shit.

Totally agree with the fact the refs only get one look in real time and have to make an instant decision, and aren't helped by the players with the win at all costs mentality. But you wonder even with the one look at it, how they come to the decisions they do. Tevez getting fouled and getting booked for a dive, today with Chelsea's 2nd goal against Spurs. These are incidents that are so glaringly obvious when the ref's have an unobstructed view, yet come to make these mind boggling decisions. And it seems to be happening all the time. Great idea about the programme.

Think the ref was conned by that scumbag Young, and would love to see someone give him a REAL reason to hit the deck, and STAY THERE the cheating ****.

I'd love to believe you but the evidence put before my eyes every week is that the game IS bent.

Chelsea's second goal is good for ashley young.

Helps to deflect the media attention

See what your saying mate, but even without that goal do you think Young would get the same media attention as for example Suarez?
