Alan Green on 5 Live 606 was calling Young a cheating, diving beggar tonight, and didn't pull his punches considering it was pre watershed. Said even if England benefit from it during the Euros he'd still let him have it on the commentary for being a cheating twat.
Some nob even phoned in saying we should just accept it and that it was 'just part of the game'. Well you sir, can fuck off.
Course not, hes england and unitedBig Mac said:mansour's tow ropes said:Chelsea's second goal is good for ashley young.
Helps to deflect the media attention
See what your saying mate, but even without that goal do you think Young would get the same media attention as for example Suarez?

Your sitting at home with birds eye view from every angle making these calls. The ref is there at ground level legs and bodies in the way and cheating footballers doing utmost to get players booked or sent off or dodgy penalties. There needs to be a programme on every weekend to highlight and shame players to stop this shit.
did you miss Hutton sliding right through him?Big Mac said:lastmanback said:Why do I keep seeing these topics refs are cheats and corrupt when it's the players who are cheating week in week out. Totally agree with the fact the refs only get one look in real time and have to make an instant decision, and aren't helped by the players with the win at all costs mentality. But you wonder even with the one look at it, how they come to the decisions they do. Tevez getting fouled and getting booked for a dive, today with Chelsea's 2nd goal against Spurs. These are incidents that are so glaringly obvious when the ref's have an unobstructed view, yet come to make these mind boggling decisions. And it seems to be happening all the time. Great idea about the programme.
Think the ref was conned by that scumbag Young, and would love to see someone give him a REAL reason to hit the deck, and STAY THERE the cheating ****.
THEY will be striking an extra medal for referees if Manchester United go on to claim their 20th league title.
Certainly the dark arts of the game and the failure of referees to spot a dive are having a significant impact on United’s title progress.
For the third home game in succession they got the benefit of a controversial decision that will have had Manchester City and their followers raging at their TV screens – again.
First, there was Michael Carrick’s late trip on Danny Murphy that should have earned Fulham a stonewall penalty and a point – only for referee Michael Oliver to rule it out.
Then came United’s early penalty against QPR when Ashley Young – in an offside position – went over under the slightest of touches from Shaun Derry, whose frustration was compounded by a red card from Lee Mason.
Yesterday Young found himself in the eye of the storm again for an even more outrageous dive to win another early spot-kick.
He threw out his left leg to make sure he made contact with Ciaran Clark, then twisted his body into a dive that, yes, Tom Daley would have been proud of.
Referee Mark Halsey bought it but when he sees the replay he will know he should have booked Young for simulation and awarded a free-kick to Aston Villa.
When Young sees it he will surely just be as embarrassed. He is not alone.
