Is that Geoff Taylor?,used to go with him and a load of loonies from the cross and Waterloo, including mine host from the Old Ball(Giggy),I wouldn't have a criminal record if it wasn't for this lot.
Harry Revell did run the OSC in the late seventies, early eighties moved from the Portland St. club to Highland Laddie and then onto Pegs Tavern opposite the rugby club, last I heard of it.

Re: Ashton-under-Lyne

Still cock all heard. This really is a poor show from the Secretary of the OSC!

Why put your contact details all over the OS if you never answer your queries?

I don't want to phone Kev on his mobile as he may be on holiday (in which case, someone else from the OSC should pick up the e-mails!).

Why does the phrase "typical City" echo around my head?

Am sure we can sort a decent boozer out raffles there is a lot in ashton & a lot of blues aswell...In your hands pal!

Re: Ashton-under-Lyne

I've just bit the bullet and e-mailed Mike Young (PR) and Alan Galley (Chairman) to see if someone in OSC Towers is awake.

Failing that, I don't know what more I can do.

Watch this space I suppose.

If I hear nothing by the end of next week I'm going to form a supporters club anyway!

Can someone have a polite word with the landlord at the Old Ball and ask if it would be OK to base us there? I know that isn't everybody's choice - but it's a start (and you may even like it).

cheers

I can call in over the weekend raffles and have a chat with them pal if u want
