Ashton United submit loan offer for Haaland

Brilliant. There'll be a few social media people at various non-league clubs kicking themselves for not doing it first. Ashton United was in the top 20 trending topics on Twitter for a while earlier and their website has crashed with the amount of traffic its had.
 
Hope City/Haaland join in the spirit of it with some form of response. Maybe tell them he's already committed himself to Whitby Town after he got them confused with Sampdoria or something; probably steer clear of jokes about fielding ineligible players.

Yeah Ashton were caught out on ineligible players a couple of weeks ago.
 
I've just watched the Brentford game on Match of the Day on iPlayer. I'm surprised they want him!!!
 
City should say yes, but tell Ashton they have to pay his wages. That's a lot of beers and pies sold to cover that.

Saying that the Ashton public do like beer and pies.
