replaced:

a dickhead at fullback with Gvadiol who can cover CB
A player who wished to leave in Gundo, with Kovacic and Nunes
A player who had an offer you would be daft to refuse at 31 in Mahrez with Doku

Laporte you can file under a year later than it could have bee nas Akanji basically took his position last season

Palmer, well he wants more game time and has took a risk with where he has gone, McAtee is back and Bobb moves up the squads and replaces

All in all a good window, and thoae fretting about the goals from Ilkay and Riyad, well we will have to wait and see what tgese new players achieve under Peps tutilage
This.

Last year Phillips, Gomez and Palmer were back up for regulars and now we've added Nunes how is that weaker ?
It was weak last year buy we were lucky on the injury front. This year we've already lost kdb for 4 months...

No it wasn’t weak last year and isn’t this year. Still the strongest squad in the P/L. We will cope without KDB for 4 months better than any of our rival would.

Solid 8 from me as well. If we manage to unload Cancelo it creeps up a bit, if by some miracle we can unload Phillips it goes up a bit more again.

Only slight disappointment is that we sent McAtee out on loan again. I’d like to have seen him given a bit of a chance to show if he’s got what it takes.

I can't really assess it yet, the 2 I have seen play looke very good, 1 much better than I expected.

The other 2 I don't know much about.

We've let players leave (sale/loan) I would have preferred to have kept at the club, and we look to be stuck with 1 I don't want.

I'd honestly, blue specs safely in the glasses case, say that it looks to me as though we've had the strongest window.
Liverpool have now got a more credible midfield than they've had for a long time, in my view, but they're still very suspect at the back in a way that they weren't two or three seasons back. Their new players from last season who were so unimpressive will certainly have a better season. The Firmino/Mané/Salah combination struck gold and I don't think they'll be finding that combination any time soon.
Not impressed at all by who United have got — but that's been par for the course for quite some time.
Arsenal? Havertz — not an unknown. He'll be a dud. Certain of it. Rice is a goodish player who's vastly overrated. This Timber lad is carrying quite a reputation — but he's injured and for some time to come.
Chelsea's recruitment looks like a scattergun policy to me. Definite talent there, but can Pochettino really forge them into a team?
No grounds for complacency but… steady as she goes.
